Hi Hannah, could you firstly tell WWW readers a little bit about you?<\/h1>\n

It\u2019s always a tough one to answer, on par with writing an \u201cabout me\u201d page for my website, lots of umms and ahhhs pondering what the best thing to say is without sounding like a total plum! Life with two children, a husband, two dogs and my own business is organised chaos and I wouldn\u2019t have it any other way. Photography is and always will be very important to me. I\u2019m fortunate to be surrounded by country bumpkin beauty and never short of inspiration for my creativity. Adventures from the mini to the grand are what I work so hard for, from days out to summer roadtrips across Europe in my campervan\u2026 and of course it all gets documented, you can follow me on instagram and vimeo for said adventures.<\/p>\n

What do you love\/dislike about your job?<\/h1>\n

Love\u2026 I LOVE being a part of so much love. I get to use my creativity, enjoy using my creativity and get to watch other people enjoy my creativity when they see my photos. Accounts are reeeeally boring and tax returns make me weep. So much so I\u2019m going to sandwich that little piece of bore between some more loveliness\u2026 I love the places photography can take me, from cool city pubs to rolling Sardinian countryside. Most of all I love the people. I\u2019m an avid people watcher and could while away time taking in scenes around me, probably why photography is my calling. When I\u2019m asked what I do for my job and I say photographer, I\u2019m then always asked what sort of things do I photograph\u2026 I simply reply \u201cpeople\u201d. Weddings, yes, but also babies, families, pregnancy, boudoir and street photography, lots and lots of people.<\/p>\n

How did you get into photography and into the wedding industry?<\/h1>\n

An epiphany had me sign up to a photography course at night college for a year whilst working full time. I set myself the goal of becoming a photographer. I have always been artistic it was high time I used my flare to do a job that gave me something that the rat race never did, fulfilment. I\u2019m not saying it was easy because it isn\u2019t but it was the best thing I ever did. I work more hours and earn less money but it is mine, my business, my baby and brings me more happiness then I could have imagined.<\/p>\n

\"Northampton<\/h1>\n

What do you aim to achieve for your clients?<\/h1>\n

My aim is simple\u2026 to recreate their day in images. I want them to be transported back to their wedding day when they peruse their album. I had a bride say to me recently (when looking at another of my weddings) that she felt like she knew them, that she was at the wedding. It was like music to my ears!<\/p>\n

What style is your work?<\/h1>\n

I take a relaxed approach with my photography, I don\u2019t want you to feel like you are a performing monkey. I guess I would say that 80% of my work on a wedding day is reportage, capturing the day as it happens. Then there\u2019s the couple portraits which I LOVE and also try to keep them as natural as possible with a creative, editorial type of twist.<\/p>\n

Could you tell us some information about your packages\/prices?<\/h1>\n

Absolutely, my couples on average spend between \u00a31,650 – \u00a32,300. You can have a 2nd<\/sup> professional photographer, an album, parent albums etc. Contact me for a bespoke quote, with as much detail about your wedding as possible.<\/p>\n

Do you have any tips for couples in selecting their wedding photographer?<\/h1>\n

Yes!! Look at their work, if you like it get in touch, if you like the photographer and their work, book them! I say to like their work AND them because it is so important to feel happy and comfortable on your wedding day, a rapport between you and your photographer will breed magic in your photos.<\/p>\n
