Tell us a bit more about you?<\/h2>\n

Hi I\u2019m Poppy a photographer based in the beautiful city of Oxford. I am a little obsessed with all things photography. Finding that moment which tells you everything you need to know and snapping it is what I live for! It all started with my love of travel, new people, sights and sounds. I\u2019ve lived in New Zealand (its amazing!) and travelled to places such as Cuba, Japan, South Africa and Canada. So if you need any honey moon advice I would be very happy to help in that department too.<\/p>\n

What do you like about your Job?<\/h2>\n

I\u2019m very much a creative and visual person and photography allows me my outlet. There is just something so amazing about capturing peoples stories and their personalities. I take great honour in being able to do that for people.<\/p>\n

And I really love weddings, with all their crazy fun, emotions and laughs.<\/p>\n

What’s your style?<\/h2>\n

I love to capture relaxed, fun and natural photos, I am very much a documenter of beautiful moments. I do not intrude or direct the day, just capture it as it happens. I take the lead from my couples on how much time they would like to spend on the couple shoot and the formal shots.<\/p>\n

What do you hope to do for your clients?<\/h2>\n

Not only do I capture those amazing moments between a couple, I want to capture all the little things that maybe were missed. I really do want my couple to look back at their photos and feel what they were feeling that day. Memories of loved ones are so important, I want my couples to have memories to treasure and to remember how just amazing their day was.<\/p>\n

What advice would you give to couples when picking their wedding photographer?<\/h2>\n

Don\u2019t worry to much about trying to understand all the different types and styles of photography out there. There are a lot and I can image how confusing it could be if you don’t know the industry. Just make sure you love the photographers photos, do you like the way they have taken the photos, the angles, lighting, the type of images they are capturing. If you like soft blurry backgrounds, make sure you see this in there portfolio (or vice versa!). Do you like the way they have edited the photos, will that date?<\/p>\n

If you could choose another role in the wedding industry what would it be?<\/h2>\n

I would say baker, but the cake might not make it to the client, cake is a bit of an issue at the moment \ud83d\ude42 I would have to say wedding planner, I take great pride in things happening on time, attention to detail and staying calm and coming up with plan B when things don’t quite happen as they should.<\/p>\n
