Including Guests in Wedding Rituals<\/h3>\n

If you’d like to include a handfasting<\/a> or knot-tying<\/a> ritual, why not invite guests to send ribbons in advance of the wedding to be plaited or woven together to form your tie? (For safety, we recommend you set aside the ribbon for at least 48 hours prior to the wedding.)<\/p>\n\n

Another way to include a select number of guests in the celebration on the day is with a sand-blending ritual. Each guest can add their coloured sand to your chosen keepsake container in turn. This ritual symbolises the coming together of families and can be conducted in a safe, socially distanced way.<\/p>\n

Numbers Up<\/h3>\n

As restrictions are lifted, the number of guests allowed at weddings is going up. From 17 May, 30 people can attend a wedding or reception in England, and in June, it’s pencilled in that restrictions could be lifted altogether.<\/p>\n
