Documentary Wedding Photography<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Gone of the days of traditional wedding photography with lots of posed photos and every possible combination of family shots. Unplugged Ceremonies<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>More and more couples are going unplugged for their wedding ceremony. No cameras, no phones, no iPads. It can be frustrating to some couples to have photos posted all over social media of the bride in her dress, the happy couple and fun selfies before the day is even over. A popular request is asking guests not to post anything on social media until the day is over. This also related to the previous point about going unplugged, you want your guests to enjoy and celebrate the day with you. You already have a photographer there and you can remind them of this.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><b>Oh yes please <\/b>&#8211; On the flip side, some couples want to see the photos guests are taking, and actually welcome it. You could ask guests to post their photos with a unique hashtag so you can find them on Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms. It can help promote the event and helps you experience your wedding through their eyes. Drone Wedding Photography<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wedissimo.com\/wedding-photographers\/drone-shots\/\">Drone photography<\/a> might involve overhead shots of just the bride and groom or wedding party as a whole. It is an effective way for the photographer to capture the spirit and excitement of the day.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Additionally, it also gives the photographer different angles and vantage points to work from, which optimises the appeal of many shots.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>With the rise in drones (excuse the pun), and higher quality cameras onboard, it&#8217;s becoming another tool photographers use to capture photos. In some areas &#8211; particularly near airports you might need permission to fly a drone. Often there is an advance license to apply for and then the photographer will have to check on the day if there are any restrictions. Day-After Photos<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Wedding days can be chaotic and stressful. Things can arise that are beyond a wedding photographer&#8217;s control (e.g. intoxicated wedding party, time crunch, lighting issues, etc.) and it may limit the shots they get on &#8220;the day.&#8221; Some couples have always chosen to do day-after shoots. But why is this trend increasing?
