Some guests had decided to go into the bar and have a sing-a-long around the piano; however, the excitement was obviously too much for this guest.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Ninetieth Minute<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The dance floor emptied as the guests took to their phones to keep up with the action as the match neared its conclusion.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

First Dance Rehearsal<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I captured this moment just before they came down and did the dance for real. I love the combination of necessity and romance in this image. They’re rehearsing in a corridor for lack of a better location, yet the dress and morning suit\u2014not to mention the twirl\u2014give the whole scene a real sense of Fred and Ginger.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Bridal preparations with 3 generations<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

To the left is the dress, at the back is the bride, to the right is the bride’s sister, and in the centre are the bride’s mother and her three grandchildren, who are also the bride and sister’s children. This is a documentary image because I wouldn\u2019t be creative enough to pose this, even if I tried.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A Mother’s Touch<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

As a casual observer, you don’t need any information beyond what is contained within the photograph. Here, we can all recognise an emotional moment between two people; they just happen to be mother and son at a wedding.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In the Lancashire village of Lydgate, high up in the hills, as Natalie left the church, a gust of wind caught her veil. I quickly turned to capture the moment. It’s the bridesmaids straining to catch the veil that makes the photo for me.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

While hunting for interesting documentary moments during dinner, I noticed the children having a few wild moments outside. I was capturing her getting ready on the sand when two dogs were kissing in the background. The bride never saw them until she received the photos. The Love Bus<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I first met this couple on their narrow boat in Little Venice and was immediately struck by their friendliness, warmth, and the deep affection they had for one another. It\u2019s a fact that same-sex marriages, even in a progressive country like the UK, can sometimes cause tension among relatives. Unfortunately, we all know this is true. But not in this family. Far from it.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I captured this delightful snogfest, which included the couple and one of the groom’s parents, who decided to join in for the photo I was taking. This was on the vintage bus ride from Marylebone Town Hall to Hackney, and it remains one of my favourite captures.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I particularly like this picture because, during the first dance, I sought a different perspective. I moved in close and tried an unusual angle to capture the bride\u2019s expression.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

High five Bro!<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

For me, it\u2019s always a joy to shoot at Tenuta Serradesca in Bergamo, northern Italy. This magical place, with its stunning landscapes and lovely vineyards, is simply perfect.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
