With over 7 years of training and performance experience, including 5 years of professional training, I’ve developed a strong foundation across music, theatre, and performance. I trained at Urdang Academy in musical theatre, acting, and commercial dance, studied Performing Arts at Impington International College, and hold a BA (Hons) in Popular Music Performance (Vocals) from BIMM Institute London. I’ve performed at a wide range of events, including 5 consecutive years at the Cambridge Big Christmas Lights Switch-On alongside Heart Radio and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, and was a finalist in the UK Unsigned Competition (2019). My approach to working with clients and event organisers is warm, friendly, and highly communicative, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Collaboration is at the heart of everything, alongside a strong commitment to professionalism and authenticity—key pillars of Safira’s Vocals. Every performance is approached with care and intention, always striving for excellence and to deliver something truly special for each client. Individuality is celebrated and encouraged, creating space for you to be fully yourselves while drawing inspiration from what you love.
My sound is shaped by a blend of powerful contemporary artists and timeless musical influences. Inspired by vocalists such as Adele, Ella Henderson, and Whitney Houston, I’m drawn to emotive storytelling, strong vocal delivery, and music that connects on a deeper level. Artists like James Arthur, James Bay, and Rag'n'Bone Man have also influenced my style, particularly in blending acoustic, soul, and raw, expressive vocals. My sound leans into R&B, acoustic pop, and ballads, with a strong foundation in soul and blues. I’ve also grown up surrounded by a wide range of musical eras—70s to 90s classics through my parents, and 60s influences from my grandparents—shaping a deep appreciation for timeless music and rich vocal traditions. Alongside this, being part of a modern generation has naturally brought in early 2000s and contemporary influences, allowing me to blend classic and current sounds seamlessly. There’s also a personal connection to reggae within my family, which has subtly influenced my musical ear and sense of rhythm from a young age. Altogether, these influences come together to create a versatile, soulful, and expressive sound that honours both classic and modern styles.

What kind of music do you usually perform? I cover a range of genres including pop, acoustic, R&B, soul, jazz, ballads, soft rock, pop-rock, and indie—allowing me to suit a variety of moments throughout your day. Can you perform for different parts of the day (ceremony, drinks reception, first dance)? Yes, I offer flexible coverage including ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, evening entertainment, or half-day/full-day options. Can you time songs to key moments (walking down the aisle, signing, exit)? Yes, timing is key. I structure ceremony music to include pre-ceremony, aisle songs, signing of the register, and an exit song, all delivered seamlessly. Can you learn a specific song for our ceremony? Yes, I can learn specific songs, subject to availability and enough notice before your wedding date. How would you describe your style or vibe? My style is elegant and modern with a subtle, expressive flair. The atmosphere I create is best described as majestic. Do you perform more acoustic or with backing tracks? As a solo singer, I mainly perform with high-quality backing tracks. Live accompaniment can be arranged depending on availability and at an additional cost. Do you provide your own equipment (PA system, mic, etc.)? Yes, I provide professional PA setups suitable for both intimate and larger events, ensuring high-quality sound throughout your day. Have you performed at weddings before? Yes, along with many other events. I’ve performed to audiences ranging from around 50 to over 2000 people, so I’m confident adapting to different settings. What’s your approach to working with couples? It’s very collaborative. We communicate, share ideas, and build your vision together—combining your preferences with my experience to create something that feels right for you. What’s your favourite part of performing at weddings? The emotion—especially the aisle moment. Seeing the connection between couples and feeling the atmosphere in the room is incredibly special, and being part of that is something I never take for granted.
