I offer 3 ceremony options, depending on your vision, individual requirements and stage in your relationship. Each differ to meet your needs, however all are of equal quality and I will provide the same service, support and passion to officiate your chosen ceremony.
This is your day, your way and if you haven’t realised by now, having a celebrant wedding means pretty much anything goes, the only limit is your imagination!
WEDDING CEREMONY:
If you dream of a wedding in a castle grounds, hotel gardens, your favourite local vineyard, beachfront at sunset or perhaps a family garden set up, as long as you have permission, then you are good to go! You do not need a licenced venue and it can be anytime of the day or night!
I will get to know you and create your own personal and unique ceremony script based on your story, including any readings, vows, rituals, symbolic elements or traditions you wish so you can celebrate your way, involving any family, friends or furry family members you would like included.
I will support you through this process as it can be quite daunting with all the choices you have.
Do you want to reaffirm your vows? Perhaps you didn’t get the wedding of your dreams first time round? Maybe your children are at an age where they can be involved? You could be overcoming one of life’s challenges or just want a new start? Is it a special anniversary?
RENEWAL OF VOWS:
If you are already married, a ceremony to renew your vows comes with no legalities and no restrictions whatsoever!
This is generally a shorter, more modest ceremony, however I can still provide the same service and support that I offer for my package for Weddings to make this a day to remember!
COMMITMENT CEREMONIES:
Do you not want to enter into a legal marriage or civil partnership, but want to commit to each other, sharing your story and affirming your love to family & friends?
If so, this ceremony is for you!
The same as Vow Renewals, this type of ceremony comes with no legalities and no restrictions whatsoever!
This can be a shorter, more modest ceremony, however I can still provide the same service and support that I offer for my package for Weddings to make this a day to remember!
Please Note:
Currently, in order to become legally married in England, you must first sign a legal statement at your local register office to say you intend to get married or form a civil partnership. This is known as ‘giving notice’.
Marriage law is no longer fit for modern society, so while we wait for the Wedding Reform which we hope will legalise Independent Celebrant weddings, if you have a Celebrant ceremony, you also need to book your registrar appointment to sign the legal documents.
