wedissimo is a wedding supplier marketplace where couples browse and book suppliers by availability, price, and location. We securely accept payments on behalf of suppliers and hold funds in a segregated client account until 5 days after the wedding. Couples can message and book calls with suppliers, and then confirm bookings directly through the platform. All suppliers are vetted, and we use AI to monitor and maintain a safe and trusted community.

FAQ
How do couples pay?
Couples pay online by credit or debit card. They can pay the whole amount upfront or pay a deposit now and the rest later. If the wedding is more than 90 days away the deposit is spit into 2 payments. The deposit covers our commission and we collect your fee 30 days before the wedding.
When do I get paid?
You'll be paid automatically 5 days after wedding.
What is the cancellation policy?
Couples can cancel and get a full refund if they cancel within 30 days of booking, and their wedding is more than 30 days away. If they cancel within 30 days of the wedding then you get paid in full, as long as we have been able to collect the money from their card. If they cancel before 30 days you should have time to secure another booking but you don't get paid. Fortunately cancellations are rare.
Will I always speak to couples before they book?
It is common for couples to book a video call with you through the platform, but sometimes they just book you directly online.
How does wedissimo know I am available?
We sync with your calendar so we know when you are available and you specify the area that you work in. You are only bookable on the platform when your calendar is free, and the venue is within your working area.
When I charge travel expenses?
No. As part of our commitment to reducing the carbon impact of weddings we do not allow charging additional travel expenses. This encourages couples to book local.
Can I create bespoke packages?
Yes! If a couple messages you and asks for something specific you can create a new listing and send it to them. Usually though couples opt for the existing packages.
Can I set my own terms and conditions?
The standard terms are included in our T&Cs, this includes that you will retain copyright on your images. If you need to add something specific you can add this on your profile but most people find our standard terms are absolutely fine.
Can I pay to get on the homepage?
As a booking platform we constantly change how search results appear. You can't pay more to appear higher in search or on certain pages, we simply provide the most relevant results for couples.
