I am an independent celebrant so am happy to include religious, spiritual, cultural elements or any theme you would like to incorporate into the ceremony. I like to impress on the couples I work with that the sky is the limit - we can do whatever you would like to make it special and fitting for you!
Our journey together, first and foremost, will be fun and if you are feeling: Uncertain about a ceremony structure Concerned about just another generic or impersonal ceremony Nervous about speaking in public or being centre of attention Overwhelmed with planning and last minute logistics From different backgrounds and stuck as to how to honour both traditions Confused about the legal requirements for marriage Struggling to find ideas for readings, rituals or vows Unsure as to what kind of tone you would like the ceremony to have Stressed about the ceremony dynamic due to family issues (divorces, estrangements) Wanting to honour a loved one who has passed away but don't know how Then look no further as I will: Advise on a clear structure, offering ideas and create a script from scratch that reflects your values and journey together. Craft a totally bespoke ceremony that reflects your personalities, loves and passions Guide you through what to expect in the ceremony and how to stay calm and offer options that minimise you speaking, if you would like that, and be a calm, warm, unflappable presence on the day. Coordinate with all the relevant wedding team including the venue, photographer, musicians, planner to ensure seamless timing, including a rehearsal, if required. Design inclusive ceremonies that blend or respect different cultural or religious elements and help navigate sensitive family dynamics around these elements. Guide you through the legal requirements, ensuring you are fully aware of the steps you need to take. Suggest meaningful readings, music, additional personalised rituals and vows and provide examples to encourage your creativity. Help you to define the ceremony’s tone and style through our conversations, balancing emotion, humour and heartfelt moments as you would like. Navigate sensitive family situations with professionalism, crafting words and moments that avoid awkwardness or conflict. Suggest respectful ways to include your loved ones who have passed away, ensuring the tone remains uplifting while honouring their memory.
