I am accredited by Humanists UK, so I am suitable for couples who are looking for an entirely secular ceremony. The beauty of a humanist wedding ceremony is that it can be whatever you want it to be. It can follow a tried-and-tested, conventional format, it can be a blend of the traditional and eccentric, it can merge customs from different cultures. There can be music, singing, dancing, hand-fasting or broom-jumping (google it). We can even include children and/or animals in the proceedings! Fundamentally, though, it is about celebrating the unique spark between two people. I am queer, trans and SWer inclusive in my practice; I am also a work in progress, always open to feedback. Everyone has a story to tell, and it's my job to draw yours out in a way that feels fun and authentic.

Being a wedding celebrant means that you deal in the business of joy and love, which is delightful. I love to energise and inspire your guests with laughter (and sometimes tears!) so they are in the best possible mood to celebrate with you for the rest of your wedding day. I also appreciate the importance of ritual, customs and gravitas to anchor and unite us during important life events. I thoroughly enjoy the time I spend getting to know the couples I marry. It is a real privilege to get to hear your stories, and collaboratively craft a ceremony that is perfect for you.
