When it comes to your wedding day, there’s one golden rule: there are no rules—at least not when you choose a celebrant-led ceremony with me. As a trained celebrant, I offer a truly personal approach to your wedding. I believe your ceremony should reflect who you are, what you love, and what matters most to you. This isn’t just about reading vows or signing a certificate — it’s about creating a celebration of your relationship that feels authentic, emotional, and unforgettable. Here’s what I offer, and why working with me might be one of the best decisions you make on your wedding planning journey: 1. A Ceremony That’s Truly Yours With a celebrant-led ceremony, you're free to throw out the rulebook. Want to get married in your garden? On a windswept hilltop? With your dog as the ring bearer? Let’s do it! There are no fixed scripts, no set structure, and no limitations on location or content. Whether you’re planning something traditional, alternative, quirky, spiritual, or completely one-of-a-kind, I’ll work closely with you to create a ceremony that fits you perfectly. 2. Personalised from Start to Finish Every couple is different — and your ceremony should be too. I’ll spend time getting to know you both, learning about your story, your values, and what makes your relationship unique. From there, I’ll write a bespoke ceremony that celebrates your love in a way that feels genuinely you. You can include your own vows, meaningful readings, special music, or elements from different cultures or faiths. Nothing is off the table — we create it together. 3. The Magic of Rituals One of the most beautiful aspects of a celebrant-led wedding is the option to include symbolic rituals that add depth, emotion, and even a little bit of theatre to your day. Some of the rituals I love to include are: Handfasting- An ancient Celtic tradition where your hands are gently bound with ribbons or cords to symbolise your union — it’s where the phrase “tying the knot” comes from! Jumping the Besom - Rooted in pagan tradition, this joyful ritual involves literally jumping over a broom — a fun, symbolic way to leap into your new life together. Ring Warming - Your rings are passed among your guests during the ceremony, allowing loved ones to bless them with silent wishes or thoughts. It’s a beautiful, inclusive moment that adds real heart to your day. These are just a few ideas — we can explore others that align with your heritage, beliefs, or personal style.
As a celebrant, I believe your wedding should be a true reflection of who you are as individuals and as a couple. This isn't just about reading a script and signing a piece of paper. It's about telling your story, celebrating your love and creating something utterly unforgettable. What I love most about being a celebrant is the privilege of being invited into people lives at such special times. It's an honour I don't take lightly. With warmth, empathy and careful attention, I work closely with each couple to design a ceremony that feels deeply personal and beautifully unique. There are no set scripts or set rules, just your story, your values and your wishes, brought to life in a way that is meaningful to you
