I have had a long career in the performing arts, so descriptive storytelling and audience engagement are innate and well honed skills. Another option I can offer is incorporating live music into the ceremony. Whether it be a romantic first waltz or a energising group sing-a-long, music can add a dash of something a little different to your big day.

Despite life trying it's very best at times to turn me into a cynic, I'm just not. It's not in my nature. I like and have faith in people. Every life lived is a first time event, a story just waiting to be told and that above all else is what a love about being a celebrant. What unique series of events led to a a couple getting together? What do they most love and value about each other and the friends and family in attendance? It's such a huge honour when someone puts their trust in me to tell their story and each and every time, my sole aim is to respect that privilege and tell that story with empathy, passion and humour.
