I don’t box ceremonies into one specific category, because couples rarely fit neatly into one either. Most of the ceremonies I create sit somewhere in between – personal, meaningful, and reflective of what you actually believe and value, rather than what a label says it should be. That said, I naturally lean towards modern celebrant-style ceremonies – relaxed, inclusive, and completely centred around your story. For some couples, that means no religious content at all. For others, it might include a spiritual or cultural element that feels important to them – a reading, a blessing, a ritual, or a quiet nod to faith or family tradition. I’m always guided by what feels right for you, not by a fixed format. I also really enjoy working with couples who want something a bit different – whether that’s an outdoor setting, a more informal feel, or a ceremony that breaks away from the traditional structure. Themed elements, symbolic rituals, or just a shift in tone from “formal and stiff” to “warm and real” – that’s where I come into my own. Ultimately, my “specialism” is creating ceremonies that feel authentic. However you define your relationship, your beliefs, or your style, I’ll shape a ceremony around that so it feels natural, comfortable, and genuinely yours.

It’s always a privilege to step into one of the most meaningful moments in someone’s life and helping to shape it into something that genuinely feels like them. No two couples are the same, and that’s exactly the point – your ceremony shouldn’t sound like anyone else’s. I’m naturally curious, so I love getting to know people properly – not just the big milestones, but the little things: how you met, what makes you laugh, what you’ve been through together. That’s where the magic is. When a ceremony feels personal, relaxed, and full of real emotion, it lands differently – not just for the two of you, but for your guests as well. I don’t do “template ceremonies.” I listen carefully, ask the right questions, and create something that reflects your story, your values, and your personalities. Whether you want something heartfelt, lighthearted, a bit unconventional, or a mix of everything, I’ll help you find the right balance so it feels completely authentic. I also know that not everyone is comfortable being the centre of attention, so I’m very aware of how to guide and support you through the whole process – from our first chat right through to the day itself. You won’t be left wondering what happens next or feeling like you have to perform. My job is to make sure you feel confident, relaxed, and able to enjoy every moment. At the end of the day, it’s about creating a ceremony that people remember for the right reasons – because it felt real, warm and unmistakably “you!”
