I live in lovely Bedfordshire with my husband and our Staffordshire bull terrier, Stanley, who is very much the boss of the house! I have three grown-up children who are off living their own adventures, which gives me the freedom to split my time between part-time teaching and my real passion, creating meaningful ceremonies for couples.

After years in the classroom, I retrained with the UK Society of Celebrants and have spent the last two years helping couples celebrate their love in ways that feel truly them. Whether it’s laughter, happy tears or a mix of both, I love creating ceremonies that are full of heart.

When we work together, we’ll start with a friendly ‘discovery meet’. This is your chance to suss me out and see if I’m the right celebrant for your big day (no pressure, it’s all about finding the perfect fit!).

Around six months before your wedding, I’ll send you a fun and thoughtful questionnaire where you can share your story – how you met, what you love (and maybe don’t love!) about each other and your hopes for married life. From that, I’ll craft the first draft of your wedding ceremony script.

From there, we refine it together. We can go back and forth as many times as needed until your ceremony feels completely you. Throughout the process, we’ll keep in touch however suits you best – meet-ups, online chats, messages or phone calls – whether it’s to answer questions, share ideas, support with vows or just have a general wedding natter.

On the big day, I arrive about an hour early to set up, calm any last-minute nerves and lend a hand if needed. After delivering your ceremony, I’ll grab a quick 30-second photo with you (a little keepsake for me!) before slipping away so you can enjoy the rest of your celebrations.
