- Please send your music brief (must-plays, do-not-plays, key moments) at least 3 days before the event. - Let me know of any major changes to timing, location, or logistics as early as possible. - I’ll arrive 90 minutes before the start time for setup and soundcheck. - A day-of contact (planner, coordinator, or trusted guest) should be assigned for quick decisions. - If a meal is provided, I’ll take a short break at an appropriate time.
I’ve been DJing weddings for years, and for me, it’s never been about just turning up and playing songs. Every couple’s got their own story, and my approach is about making sure the music tells it. Some couples come with super detailed playlists; others just want a vibe and trust me to run with it. Either way, I meet you where you’re at. I’m a big believer in preparation and getting to know what matters to you, checking in before the day, and working closely with your team so you never feel like the music’s an afterthought. And when the day comes, I’m fully present. I’ll read the room, adjust the energy, and make sure the dancefloor’s full. At the end of it, I want you to look around the room and feel like everyone’s having the time of their life and to know the music had a part in that.
Music is about feeling, and weddings are celebrations, so I’ve always been influenced by DJs who understand that, and who know how to make the crowd the centerpiece of the set by taking them on a journey, no matter the setting. DJs like Trevor Nelson, Jazzy Jeff, Carl Cox, and some of the incredible underground DJs I grew up listening to on pirate radio all shaped the way I approach a party. A lot of my inspiration comes from being in the room, watching how music connects across generations and cultures, whether it’s Afrobeats, disco, hip hop, house, or a throwback everyone forgot they loved. I’ve never been about sticking to one genre or formula, it’s about connecting people through music, whatever that looks like for each couple and their guests. No two weddings are the same, and every dancefloor teaches you something new.

For me, it’s about those moments where the music brings everyone together. Like the first dance where it finally sinks in that you’re married, that moment the dancefloor kicks off and your gran’s dancing next to your uni mates, or when the whole room sings along like they’ve known each other forever. I want to capture the feeling of togetherness through the music and those big joyful moments, but also the subtle ones, like a shared smile across the floor during “your” song.
That I take your wedding personally. This isn’t just another booking for me and I insist on getting it right, for you. I’m calm under pressure, easy to work with, and I’ll always have your back on the day. If something needs adjusting in the moment, I’ll handle it. You can trust me to read the room and make sure the music’s one less thing you have to worry about.
I’ve played at a range of venues across London and beyond, including: - The Ned - Hackney Town Hall - Shoreditch House - The Old Marylebone Town Hall - Kew Gardens (Orangery) - Trinity Buoy Wharf - The Asylum Chapel - Morden Hall Various marquees, barns, bars, restaurants, rooftops, and private estates
I don’t just show up with a playlist. I take time to understand you and your special day. What songs matter, what you don’t want to hear, and what kind of energy you want in the room. As a standard, you are given the option to spend as much or as little time consulting with me about the music that you want. I build around that to keep you and your guests dancing; young, old, and everyone in between!!! Because of my years of experience, my range is truly open format. So whether it’s 70s and 80s, R&B, pop Afrobeats, disco, hip hop, house, rock, Bollywood, Latin, or a bit of everything, I will ensure your day reflects you and your guests tastes. The cherry on top of that all, is that I encourage requests from you and your guests on the day :) I’ve done weddings in big ballrooms and tiny barns, beachside parties and city rooftops and because of that I know how much the setup matters. So, wherever it is and whatever the context I bring a clean, pro setup that looks sharp, sounds great, and can be tailored to match the vibe and aesthetic of your day. I know weddings can be stressful, as such it is my personal motto to keep a positive disposition, work closely with your planner, MC, or venue to make sure the night flows, and take initiative when necessary. You focus on the moment — I’ve got the music! End of the day, I care. This isn’t just another gig, it’s your wedding and I treat it that way.
