Evening Disco Package including DJ, DJ Booth, Lighting and Sound Equipment.
I will discuss music requirements in advance of the Wedding such as First Dance, Father & Daughter Dance etc along with any other requests for the evening. I have a large variety of music and if booked I will send an ever-growing spreadsheet containing over 20,000 songs that can be used as inspiration for any requests. This can be just a general idea of the music the couple would like (and any particular music they don't want!) or an actual playlist to be used for the whole evening. Some couples like to provide a Spotify (or similar) playlist for me to work with and these are easy shareable with me. This is also a good time to make me aware of and request any region-specific music requests for songs I wouldn't usually have with me. Of course I am also happy to take requests during the evening and use my judgement and experience to play them if appropriate. I am always watching the dance floor and love to create a great vibe that the whole Wedding Party can enjoy, switching through different genres and catering for all ages present.
I am happy to make important announcements along with introducing First Dance, Cake Cutting, Bouquet Toss etc. and have a Wireless Microphone available if there is a Master of Ceremonies who will be making the announcements. However I tend to not use the Microphone much outside of the main announcements - no one wants to hear me nattering on all evening!
I have impressive Sound and Lighting equipment and I will control the lighting throughout the event to make sure it is appropriate to the music playing, matching the energy of uptempo songs or creating a fitting atmosphere for slow songs, First Dance etc.
