Our Full Day DJ and Master of Ceremonies service is for couples who want one person looking after the music, announcements and general flow of the day rather than having different suppliers trying to piece everything together.
We can cover the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening party, with music chosen to suit each part of the day. That might mean something relaxed and unobtrusive during the afternoon, background music during the meal, then a complete change of pace once the evening party gets going.
As Master of Ceremonies, we can also take care of the important announcements throughout the day, introduce speeches, first dances, cake cutting and anything else that needs bringing to everyone’s attention. The idea is to keep things organised and moving without turning the day into something overly formal or scripted.
Before the wedding we will go through the schedule with you properly, including timings, music choices and any key moments we need to know about. If you have specific tracks for the ceremony, entrance, first dance or other parts of the day, we will make sure they are ready and played at the right time.
Once the evening starts, the focus moves to the dance floor. We do not work from a rigid pre-planned playlist. We will obviously include the music you have asked for, but we also read the room and adapt throughout the night. A wedding normally brings several generations together, so being able to move naturally between different styles and eras is a big part of making the evening work.
Our music covers everything from 70s, 80s and 90s through to 00s, current chart, disco, funk, soul, R&B, indie, rock, garage, house and club classics. Requests are welcome too, provided they fit the moment.
We use professional sound, lighting and DJ equipment appropriate for the venue and the size of the wedding. Our equipment is PAT tested and we are fully insured.
Ultimately, the point of the full day service is simple. You should be able to enjoy your wedding without worrying about who is making the next announcement, whether the right piece of music is ready or what is supposed to happen next. We take care of that side of things while keeping the day relaxed and centred around you.
