A ceremony performance starts with setting the mood for the day with some elegant guitar playing well-loved romantic songs for 20 - 30 minutes as guests enter. I can play a piece of your choice as the bride walks down the aisle. I entertain the guests with some tasteful background music as the register is signed, and then perform another piece of music as the happy couple leave the ceremony, followed by family and friends. None of these are obligatory and can be altered to suit your ceremony.
I can switch rooms and play throughout the drinks receptions - typically up to 90 minutes. This sets a lovely atmosphere as guests mingle, chat, eat canopies and drink bubbly. I typically balance the song choices here between nice romantic tunes and some more up-tempo fun songs, in order to keep the music fresh and dynamic and create an upbeat and happy mood.
Included in the price is the option to learn one special song free of charge not already in my repertoire. This can be a special piece of music for the happy couple and can be played as the bridal entrance, or indeed at any part of the day. I also invite couples to pick songs from my repertoire to include or exclude, to ensure that the music played best suits your wedding day.
I always contact clients 3 - 4 weeks before the event via video/phone call to run through any details and ensure everything will run smoothly.
My equipment is PAT tested and I have Public Liability Insurance so should the venue require these I can pass them on.
