Most wedding magicians perform at weddings. I spend most of my year performing for Ferrari, AWS and Dior, in front of audiences who have seen everything and are very hard to impress. The Reception brings that standard to the part of your wedding where your guests are mingling and you are busy with the photographer.
I perform close-up magic and mentalism in small groups, right in your guests' hands. Cards that change, objects that appear, and demonstrations of mind-reading that people cannot explain afterwards. It works for every age and every mix of guests. I perform in English, Dutch or German, so nobody on either side of the family is left out.
What makes The Reception different
A planning call first. Before the day, we speak so I understand who your guests are, how your venue flows and where the quiet gaps in your timeline are. The performance is built around your day, not pulled from a standard routine.
Magic that gets people talking. Strangers end up laughing together within minutes. Your drinks reception stops being the polite waiting period and becomes the part guests mention afterwards.
Reactions your photographer can use. The best magic happens in small groups, up close, which gives your photographer genuine moments of surprise to capture. I will happily coordinate with them on the day.
A personal moment for the two of you. I create a short piece of magic for you as a couple, so there is something in the day that belongs only to you.
Discretion and polish. I arrive early, dress to match your day, and work alongside your planner, venue and suppliers without getting in the way. You will not have to manage me.
