I'm more 'fly on the wall' to be honest, although I'm very friendly and enjoy a good chat on the day with anyone who wants to, but I realise I'm there to record the day for you so my concentration is on observing and snapping away.
Hi there, I've photographed over 200 weddings, from small intimate ceremonies to large event weddings. My approach is always the same and that is to be an assured and friendly presence at your wedding without getting its the way. I'm very happy and able to do any formal family photos and portraits of you, but mostly I'm snapping away, capturing all the special for you to keep forever.
My interests and influences are wide and varied, I'm a sucker for black & white street photography from the likes of Cartier-Bresson but also love the colourful photography of Jay Maisal, especially his New York photography.
It's always good to have a chat with me about the day, pointing out any moment in particular that you're keen I don't miss. I'll be on hand to capture all the obvious moments and plenty of special moments as they happen of course, but I'm also very happy to take photos of anything you ask me to. Formal family pics and couple portraits are best tackled with a list made prior to the day. I always suggest you send me a list via email before the day itself, that way you don't have to think about it on the day, and you don't forget anyone either. Importantly it also means this part gets completely efficiently without any undue hanging around. You get great pics but you don't have to spend ages getting them.
My favourite moments are the interactions between people, between you and your partner of course, between close family members, between friends and between new acquaintances. These can be very touching moments and also just really good fun moments. I hope they are moments that my couples treasure from their wedding day.

I've photographed may weddings and so I like to think I am a great asset to have on the day. Obviously I think I'm a pretty good photographer too :) I've always prided myself on my friendly and relaxed nature, I want people to be as relaxed as possible around me on the day so this comes across in the photos. I often get compliments from my couples that they pass on from their guests, they often remark on how friendly and approachable I was.
