Our absolute favorite wedding took place last June in North London. It was the perfect example of why having a husband-and-wife team is a complete game-changer. At the very last minute, the couple decided they wanted groom prep coverage. Because there are two of us, we adapted instantly: Gill headed over to capture the groom’s morning, while I stayed to document the bride. Soon after, hair and makeup overran significantly. Instead of panicking about formal portraits, we prioritised getting the bride to the church relaxed and completely on time. The family welcomed us so warmly that any initial anxieties vanished immediately. We ended up capturing some of our all-time favorite portraits in a beautiful local park, and by the evening, we were right in the middle of the dance floor alongside the videographer, soaking up the incredible energy and tracks we hadn't heard in years. It was pure, unscripted joy from start to finish.
