You get all day coverage. Doing less or more doesn't change the price. You've got me all day. I like a plan, bases covered. Is there parking, (photographers nightmare), is there time? I've been known to put my bike in the boot and cycle between pre ceremony pit stops. If there's a will there's a way. It's often one of the few days in our life everyone is together a rare chance to get the family portraits knocked out.
I am easy going. I do not like fuss or fanfare. If something goes wrong I've almost certainly got a plan b. Relaxed people (in so far as that is possible) make for better photos. I usually have to step into the limelight for group photos, tell some jokes, do some shouting but other than that I am the beige painted wall, the cloud in the sky.
Regarding what you get. After the big day I will prepare 300 photos for an online gallery that you can download and share. There will be many more photos that don't get prepared. I'm happy for you to keep all the original 'digital negatives' (please provide a hard drive) from which you can later have more photos developed if you wish. Each photo does take some time to prepare. Among decent photographers it will be rare that they just copy and paste a load of settings and then done. Even with AI we still have to decide the grade, where to mask, imperfections to remove. After 200s photos I am normally losing the will to live. Up to that point it and enjoyable labour to see things come together.
I try and have a handle full of pictures ready that night or the next day then deliver the whole package within 2 weeks.
