We’re stepping into Neverland today. It’s time to dream away and head to a land of make believe.
Nancy and Steve were married at the The Lodge at North Park in Pennsylvania. They envisioned a whimsical Peter Pan inspired day, held in the evening with beautiful lighting. The result? A dreamy, atmospheric and romantic celebration. There were gorgeous florals, an intricate embellished gown and quirky decorative touches throughout. WOW.
Thanks so much to Cara Rufenacht Creative for sharing these enchanting images.

When Nancy first told me about her vision for their wedding I knew it was going to be completely unique. She wanted her and Steve to feel like Peter Pan and Wendy on their wedding day. Her dream was to create a whimsical and romantic version of Neverland for their guests to enjoy.

Their florist, Green Sinner, really took Nancy’s vision to heart and incorporated antique treasures throughout the decor. Old glass doorknobs, bells, feathers, and messages in bottles were hidden amongst lush moss, ferns and bright blooms to evoke a feeling of discovery each time guests turned around.

Originally, Nancy wanted to get married at night. She is drawn to the contrast between light and dark and artwork that uses illumination to create composition.

This contrast between light and dark is seen throughout their decor photos and in their night portraits.

Even though they weren’t able to have their ceremony at night we still set aside time to take night photos inside a teepee made of lace fabric and logs collected from the forest around the lodge.
