I am so excited to get back to the WWW editorial shoot I worked on with a brilliant team of wedding suppliers back in July. A few weeks back I shared the details and décor from the woodland shoot and today I share with you the first of our bridal looks.
WWW real bride Katy had a pretty, natural and bohemian look. She looked stunning and totally rocked being a model for the day.
In the first look Katy wore the beautiful Blossom by Belle & Bunty and an entwined bud brass side tiara by Klaire Van Elton. She had a natural green leafy bouquet by Joanne Truby Floral Design to compliment her look and stunning bridal makeup by Lisa Alger at Essex Wedding Beauty. Lisa shared how she achieved Katy’s look;
“Katy already has amazing skin, so to create a natural base I used just a small amount of Airbase Airbrushing foundation. As we shot on such a beautiful sunny day, I set the foundation with Daniel Sandler Invisible Veil Powder, to minimise any shine created by the heat. I also used natural earthy tones on Katy’s eyes and enhanced her eye shape using Ardell cluster lashes. These lashes are great to add fullness whilst still looking natural.”

Joanne Truby shares how she created Katy’s delicious bouquet;“I wanted the bouquet to reflect the natural ethereal/bohemian style of the shoot, not to structured. I used lots of foliage; sharon fern & seeded eucalyptus to create different textures. For the flowers I wanted to stick to soft neutral tones to fit with the style of the shoot but I also wanted the flowers to be romantic at the same time. I used antique caramel garden roses which have a beautiful sweet smelling fragrance, blushing bride protea, white veronica and seeded scabious heads which added interest with the different textures.”
For Katy’s second bridal look of the day she donned the romantic Chiffon Belle by Belle & Bunty with a chapel length single tier veil for a really dreamy feel. Joanne Truby Floral Design worked her magic again with a wild feel natural bouquet which worked wonderfully.
Lisa created the prettiest hairstyle adorned with delicate blooms, she tells us how she created Katy’s style;
“For Katy’s second look I darkened her eye makeup using similar earthy tones and used dark brown shadow under the eye to add even more definition. I also used a Bobbi Brown lipstick in Plum Rose for a more striking look. Katy’s hair was wrapped around a medium sized wand in opposite directions to create a relaxed curl. I used TRESemme Texture Style Tousled Wave Spray and lots of TRESemme medium hairspray to ensure the style held all day.”
