These atmospheric and really rather dramatic images totally stole my heart. Perfect for a cosy autumnal Sunday me thinks.
The rich burgundy and pink tones worked beautifully in the whimsical blooms and styling. I especially love the natural bouquet filled with roses and finished with ribbon by Nadia Di Tullio Steele. The tipi looked amazing laden with golden fruit, desserts and fairy lights galore. I just also have to mention the stylish attire and uber pretty bridal hair and make up. The floral halo looked beautiful entwined in the bride’s plaited do. Gorgeous.
Thanks so much to Supplier Love members HBA Photography for sharing these incredible images. Nadia Di Tullio Steele shares all about the shoot and the inspiration behind the images with us below.
“Earlier this year I was so fortunate to be given almost ‘carte blanche’ to create a styling and floral theme for the Peaktipis spring open weekend, hosted at The Heath House in Staffordshire. Working with the dedicated and incredibly hard working team at Peaktipis I pulled together a super luxe look that suited the elegance of the country house setting, and challenged the theory that tipis are for rustic country weddings only!
I was keen to create a fully opulent look, and the starting point was ‘that’ amazing dress I selected with the help of Lorraine from Lori G Bridal in Derbyshire. The voluminous tulle and lace gown had shades of pinks and blues within the skirt and I used these as the colour direction for the rest of the styling. I pulled together the best and most beautiful blooms available to create a to die for bouquet, and finished the bridal styling with a unique floral hair piece and floral necklace. Inside the tipi the long tables were brimming with foliage runners, guilded candle sticks and compotes, finished with golden grapes and apples to give it that little bit extra…. The top table even had two gold thrones.
The individually hand painted stationary by Yellowstone Art Boutique and cakes and treats by Bake Ashbourne finished the look perfectly and worked so well with the scheme.
As with all shoots, you’re in the hands of the photographer, and I’m sure you’ll agree that Ben from HBA Photography has created an awesome set of images for us all to enjoy! We really had an amazing day of shooting as we ran the day like a real wedding, right from Bridal prep, first look, ceremony and reception?
And if you want the hairs on your arms to stand on end watch this beautiful film by Jason Lynch. And yes, the models are a real couple – can’t you tell?”
