This wedding is a tale of two halves. The first part of the day was a colourful Midsummer Night’s Dream whimsical affair and the second an Ibiza zoo party extravaganza. You’re in for a treat WWWers.
WWW readers Lissie and Matt were married on the 23rd June 2016 and held their reception in a marquee at Trunkwell House in Berkshire. Their playful themes really meant that they could have a lot of fun and they injected an array of colours and decorations into the styling. There was some pretty awesome nail art rocked by Lissie, vibrant pink lighting for the marquee and pink attire all round.
I really love the wild and abundant flowers, the top table looked just incredible in particular. Lissie looked oh so radiant in lace while Matt went for a grey suit and pink shirt. Guests were treated to face painting and an epic party in the evening too. Brilliant.
The Springles, many thanks for providing these super fun images.

THE PROPOSAL | Matt proposed to me when we were staying in a stately home for the weekend for his birthday. He had already got my mum involved in the surprise proposal and she had prepared a lovely bubbly afternoon tea for us out on the lawns. We took a walk around the grounds which overlook the South Downs. It was so picturesque and it was warm sunny day, simply stunning! Whilst I was observing the beautiful view Matt told me to face away from him so that he could take a picture of me. It was then that he got on one knee and told me turn around… It was honestly one of the happiest moments of my life.
THE VISION | I love weird and whimsical but my husband wanted an Ibiza themed wedding. We brought our two ideas together by going for a Midsummer Night’s Dream style day theme and then changing the theme in the evening to an Ibiza Zoo party.

FINDING THE DRESS | Finding the perfect dress was a little bit more complicated than I had ever thought it would be. I knew the style of dress I wanted but when I tried it on it just didn’t look right. I then had to go back to the drawing board and spent 3 weekends in different shops trying to find ‘the one’. 65 dresses later I found ‘my dress’ and I knew the moment I tried it on that it was the dress I was going to marry Matt in.
