Gold & Peach Riverside Garden Wedding in Texas

Be still, my beating heart! The nuptials of Katy and Bobby in Texas were so romantic that they’d turn anyone to mush, let alone a softie like myself. The love-birds got married at Bobby’s parent’s residence by the banks of the San Marcos River. This property is one for the books – wide open spaces, towering trees (one was even specially carved with their initials), luscious green grass and, of course, water views. It’s a dream come true for a wedding venue, really.

Katy wore an intricately beaded Jenny Packham bridal gown and looked effortlessly stunning. Her accessories fit the ‘vintage glamour’ look perfectly – shiny drop earrings and a gold hair comb. Her groom Bobby looked very handsome wearing khaki pants, vest and a brown tie. Their four-legged family members also didn’t miss out on looking stylish. They rocked bowties and a floral collar. SO. CUTE. The outdoor marquee reception was one of the most beautiful set-ups I have ever seen, adorned with hanging lanterns, abundant fairy lights and fresh florals. The soft colour palette of peach, cream and gold tied the day together both seamlessly and elegantly.

The details!? WOW. The bride in her Jenny Packham gown. The groom in his perfect khaki vest. They got married on the river bank of the San Marcos River in his parent’s backyard. No detail was left unnoticed, right down to the tent set up for the bride and her bridesmaids to wait their walk down the aisle in. Beautiful creams, golds and peaches. Perfect gold and silver sequins. Awesomely hand crafted signage and the aquamarine wedding ring….oh the details…I was in love!
