Oh my golly. I think I just fell for winter weddings all over again. This shoot is so achingly beautiful, with a super cool and edgy dark romance atmosphere teamed with girly, whimsical elements. Think decadent candlelit tablescapes, bountiful blooms in burgundy shades, on trend gowns and an incredible floral cake creation.
The bridal looks were so beautiful, with berry shades and rustic hair styles. While pretty tableware worked perfectly with rich calligraphy stationery and sweet treats. Get ready to pin your heart out folks.
Thanks so very much to Agnes Black for sharing these sensational shots.
“In my head I had this idea of merging two looks, the pretty with the dark. The shoot took place in a cool urban setting in Liverpool with lots of local suppliers getting involved. We all wanted to shoot something a little darker, moody, a deep red romantic inspired shoot that was somewhat edgy, showing that you can mix your girlie side with your dark side and create something beautiful, when I got in touch with everyone and explained my vision they couldn’t have said yes quicker. We were all stoked to be doing something a little different. The shoot was awesome, I got to work with awesome collaborators who all came along to. Big messy flowers, dark romantic colours, silver, ram skulls, calligraphy, water colour and cool accessories! I had the amazing Charlotte from Charlotte White Film and Photography working beside me! Sarah from Angels Angels Wedding’s and Events was like a little creative rocket setting everything up to look beautifully! She nailed my brief! The shoot came together beautifully and everyone totally got the look we were trying to create. The stationery fit perfectly with the biscuit wedding favours, and the flowers with the cake. The hair was kept simple and somewhat messy to show of the deep and bold lipsticks. The dresses were hand made by the designer and mix pretty and delicate lace and beading with two-piece fashion. The crown from Howling Moon was beautiful, the combination of the delicately crafted metal with the bold rough cut diamonds was exactly what this shoot was all about.”
