Are you in need of some peace and happiness on this Saturday morning? Alba and Jordan’s Colorado wedding day, which took place on October 8th 2016, is sure to bring you just that. The vision for their celebration was completely gorgeous. Alba explained they wanted to achieve a “light, unscripted and beautiful” look and they wanted their guests to “feel welcomed and loved”. Awww!
You can almost feel the quiet serenity of the event location just from looking at these images. The trees were stunning in their autumn colours, there were leaves scattered on the ground and the reception hall is rustic and charming. The lovebirds used sweet décor and oodles of multicoloured pastel blooms to compliment the venue and it worked perfectly. The eye-popping flowers are to die for and they were used as a common thread in the bouquets, on the wedding cake, in vases as centrepieces and even the bride and groom’s cute puppy wore a matching floral collar. I think their idea of throwing aromatic lavender instead of confetti was genius – it would both look and smell sensational. The happy pair looked fabulous, as did their attendants, and their loving beams warmed my heart.
Thank you so very much, Mathew Irving Photography, for sharing these incredible shots with us today.

FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER | Alba and Jordan’s Vail Mountain wedding was like a romantic dream with a majestic mountain backdrop. Every detail announced their classy-whimsy style – each piece of eye candy with a story to tell. Their first look at the base of a ski run was breathtaking and their ceremony was intimate and warm. Their lavender toss filled the air with spicy sweetness and their speeches came straight from the heart!
FROM THE BRIDE | We want our guests to feel welcomed and loved. We want them to have a fabulous time. The look we wish to accomplish is light, unscripted, and beautiful. Bride and Groom photos are most important to us, after that detail shots of florals, and ceremony. We put the most time into planning the reception, from florals to catering to décor. We are excited about the first look photos and the ceremony. After that, just having a great time with family and friends.
