Rustic Peaky Blinders Vineyard Wedding

It’s the very first real wedding feature of 2018 and I couldn’t be more excited than to share with you this super special day. Shall I share exactly why? Let me first explain that you guys, our brilliant readers, are officially the coolest. So there is no doubt that you’re going to utterly love this rustic wedding today, filled to the brim with love and fun times.

WWW readers Fay and Tom were hitched on the 14th October 2017 at Market Place Farm; a vineyard in Yorkshire. The venue is actually owned and run Fay’s sister and family, so it was of course the natural choice for their relaxed outdoor celebrations. The views were utterly outstanding and were utilised perfectly by wedding photographers extraordinaire Kazooieloki Photography. The way they have captured the autumn light, not to mention the happy moments, really is superb.

So what exactly makes me excited about this splendid wedding? Firstly, the groom and groomsmen attire could give the Peaky Blinders characters a run for their money. Tweed, flat caps and no ties in sight, what a stylish bunch! Fay looked oh so beautiful in her boho chic gown and practical wellies. Although during the ceremony she was barefoot, how perfect is that? Enjoy it all.

THE PROPOSAL | In a storm in the Lake District! Fay tried to run off before she knew what was happening because Tom wanted to stop by a river in 80mph winds and rain!

THE VISION | To be the most fun wedding we had ever been to!

THE PLANNING PROCESS | Not easy with a newborn baby and both busy jobs! We are very lucky Tom has run hundreds of weddings and Fay’s sister and family own and manage the venue we got married at, so lots of expertise on hand!

FINDING THE DRESS | Was an impromptu try on bought off the shelf (panicking anything else wouldn’t come in time!) 6 weeks after having our baby! Only the 2nd dress I tried on!

THE HONEYMOON | Mini minimoon at Crab and Lobster, Thirsk. Minimoon in Budapest January 2018 and familymoon in Amalfi Coast September 2018!

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | Every single minute, it flew by! Everything was perfect from start to finish, the family friend who conducted the blessing set the tone for the day, sincere but fun! Tom cried 200,000,000 times, the best men’s speech was the best best men’s speech ever and having every person we care about in one place.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Utilise the people around you skills! Don’t worry about the what if’s, do what you two want and no one else and don’t get hung up on the small stuff, just enjoy all of it! The run up included because it goes so quickly!
