“The brief for the shoot was a kind of moody, ethereal winter woodland shoot. I worked with Lynne from Vintage at Number 18 bridal who always has the most beautifully unusual vintage dresses and it was her that found the venue. Lynne is great because she trusts me to just run away with ideas for a shoot and loves my slightly quirky style. We worked around the venue really, West Hall is a scout campsite, which also enables complete DIY weddings in their own woodlands. The whole place is slightly creepy, which we just exaggerated with black smoke and the model running through it as if she were lost. I contacted What Katy Did Next for her gorgeous headpieces because I thought they would fit in so well with our theme.”

Muscari Events; “Colour palette – dark lush greens, deep reds, purples and black. Bridal flowers – Each girl held something different, which included a large loose relaxed bouquet, fern spray painted black, and a floral twig wreath, which went perfect with the woodland back drop. To add a whimsical element I decorated black birdcages with florals and foliage and suspended them with black velvet ribbon from trees. Table was adorned with dark florals and foliage including black roses and orchids, grapes and figs and copper candlesticks and tea lights to finish it off.”
