Free spirited couples, it’s time for a serious dose of wedding inspiration. You’re going to love the bare foot brides styled in vintage, Turkish rug aisle, macramé backdrop and pampas grass florals. Head over heels!
Set on the coast, the back drop to this beach side shoot is just stunning. It just transports you to those long summer days and sea breeze. I mean what better way to tie the knot? This shoot ticks all of the key trends for 2018 too, with the addition of peacock chairs, muted tones and of course those paired back rustic sweet treats. Revel in this gorgeousness captured so wonderfully by Tara Statton Photography.
“This beautiful bridal shoot echoes sun kissed summers and long hazy days. By styling whitewashed textured fabrics, shimmering gold details and rambling foliage, we designed modern bohemian wedding inspiration for the fun, carefree Bride. Inspired by golden natural light and the simple beauty of our setting, we created a space that truly embodied the spirit of summer and allows you to visualise a warm, relaxed and untraditional celebration.”

“The coastal location by the estuary provided stunning scenery for the tablescape, framed by an intricate macramé backdrop. Wicker peacock chairs adorned with wild Ivy and Pampas grass sat at our lavish table, with golden candlesticks and antique cutlery adding a hint of luxe to the set up. Sunshine beamed down on us, glinting and reflecting off of the glassware, enhancing those enchanting solstice vibes.”

“Semi naked drip cakes, mini cakes and a Bundt cake decorated with luscious fresh fruit, caramel and pistachios formed a tempting and gorgeous dessert table. Jennifer of Edible Essence also styled the antique oak cabinet with crates of doughnuts, such a fun and creative way to display the sweet treats.”

“An aisle of Turkish rugs and lanterns continued the bohemian theme into our ceremony space, ideal for a barefoot Bride to walk down. Dream catchers were arranged romantically in the trees, gently swaying in the breeze. A Moroccan souk style area was also styled by Suzannah of Salt Kissed, with summertime evening celebrations in mind. Stripping it back of colour, we really focused on the use of texture; sheepskin, macramé, lace and Pampas grass creating a luxurious and whitewashed coastal feel. Festoon lighting and lanterns filled with fairy lights formed a gentle glow, and we were later blessed with the most beautiful sunset and golden light over the estuary.”

“Days of Grace specialise in real vintage and antique wedding dresses and accessories, and it was so incredible to have them involved in the shoot. Linda is fantastic at styling breathtaking and truly unique garments, combining lace, silk, pearls, feathers, floor length veils, capes and elaborate headpieces – my absolute favourite of the shoot being the handmade silver crown. Our make up artist Laura and hair stylist Kyrelle produced a dreamy, natural and glowing look with full bodied textured hair, braiding and warm summery tones.”

“Beautiful stationery by De Winton Paper co gave us the perfect combination of luxury and midsummer elegance. Embellished with gold ink, the handwritten calligraphy and wax seals glittered in the midday light. The soft torn edges, watercolour and romantic silk ribbons accentuated the organic and natural feel of the shoot.”

“With the intention of creating as much wild and wonderful texture as possible, we opted for plenty of greenery, Daisies, Roses and Pampas grass. The Floricultural Cabinet created both a beautiful modern hoop and organic styled bouquets for our free spirited Brides to hold onto. With Pampas grass being a key element of our shoot, she also creatively constructed a stunning headpiece and long delicate backdrop too.”
