This wedding editorial is ticking all of my boxes today. Woodland ceremony? Check. Beautiful backdrop? Check. Seriously beautiful bohemian gowns? Check. Plus the whole shoot was held at WWW Supplier Love members Camp Katur in North Yorkshire. Yes! The creative team really came together brilliantly to create a stunning mock wedding. The rustic barns looked utterly magical with the long rustic wooden tables adorned with high floral arrangements, candles and tableware. Wow! I just love the abundance of greenery and those coral charm peonies, which always make huge impact in arrangements.
The models wore totally cool outfits which are hitting all the trends; natural, rustic and boho beautiful. Plus that ceremony set up with a Persian rug aisle, log stumps, dreamcatchers and epic florals is just the perfect spot in which to say I do. Also be sure to spot pretty botanical stationery, a show stopping cake, fun signage and flawless bridal beauty. Lumiere Photographic of course captured the whole event just perfectly.

This styled shoot was a collaboration of a multitude of talented suppliers who came together to create a unique wedding shoot at the incredible venue, Camp Katur in North Yorkshire. As well as a glamping site, it’s also a beautiful location for a wedding with the option of a woodland ceremony and a barn reception in the stunning countryside.

We chose to do two outfits to reflect the two different locations at the venue. The first location was the large barn, complete with wooden slat barn doors, which made for incredible lighting, a stag head skull and a bare concrete floor. We showcased a two-piece bridal outfit with a delicate headpiece, matched with a groom’s outfit of chinos and a waistcoat. This was where we really showed off the table, including flowers, hanging tea lights, place names and some amazing styling.

As well as two outfits, Jo from White Rose Cake Design made two cakes for this styled shoot, one a smaller semi naked cake, and the other a five tiered masterpiece complete with floral decorations and a slight ombre effect.
Katie from The Aisle offered up some amazing outfit choices, creating new combinations that even she hadn’t worked with before. Emily Hawkes, our wonderful hair stylist, created effortlessly beautiful boho inspired wavy hair, which really set off the whole look, and she was able to make it work with both the delicate headpiece and the flower crown. Amy George, our make up artist needed no direction at all, but looked at the dresses, the flowers and the hair and created a stunning make up style to compliment and tie in with everything else.

For the woodland ceremony we opted for a more relaxed looking dress and large flower crown and changed the groom to peg leg trousers and braces. A ceremony rug, dream catcher backdrop and orange smoke bomb just made for the most incredible shots of this wonderful couple.

Kirsty, of River and Rose, created a floral display that had a very literal wow factor and packed a punch. The colours were incredible and Suzanne Oddy Design beautifully set it all off with some unique styling. Suzanne then really showed off her talents down at the woodland ceremony location when she created a dream catcher backdrop, we had dream catchers swaying in the trees and some gorgeous wooden signage.

Cath, owner of Raspberry Toast created a gorgeous range of stationery, including a table plan, place names, invitations and save the dates.

The biggest hero of all the suppliers has to be Sian, who is the proud owner of Sian Chaplin Events, who coordinated everyone and everything both prior to the shoot and on the day, worked tirelessly to source our venue and each vendor to make this shoot the success it was.
All suppliers involved pulled out all the stops to create our vision and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The main reason for doing this shoot was to take pictures of a wedding we actually loved and were excited by. We shoot a lot of weddings of the same styles, at the same venues and we wanted to do something different. This style of wedding seems to be only ever seen overseas and we wanted to create a UK version!
And finally a huge thank you to our real couple, Emily and Jonny for being such amazing models. They had fun during the whole shoot and were fantastic in front of the camera.
