Cool Modern Pink & Black Geodome Wedding Ideas

Oh my word. How cool is this pink and black wedding ideas shoot today? Set at a stunning geodome wedding venue; Helsby Tents. Gasp! I just love this modern colour scheme, perfect for alternative couples willing to shake up the rule book. Louise Henesy Photography kindly sent over these inspiring images, featuring a stunning bride with pink hair and the perfect fringe, flawless make up and clutching a gorgeous trailing bouquet in reds and pinks.

We also see here the re-emergence of the lily, a bloom which has been absent from weddings of late and I think it looks really awesome throughout amongst the tropical leaves and centrepieces. Talking of the tables, the black cutlery and glassware really sets off the modern pink décor in varying shades. The styling here is immense. Black & Pink Geodome Wedding Ideas

We really wanted to create what is essentially a really fun shoot, paying homage to the modern Geodome structure that we were working with! We took a risk and went for ALL pink, using varying shades and types of the same colour to create interesting tablescapes and levels, with accents of black and gold.

We wanted to pay attention to the space that we were working with, and so we reflected the geometric nature of the Dome in the cake and accessories, as well as creating an indoor ceremony area with flowers which follows the wooden beams!

To add a touch of even more fun, our model is pink-haired too!

Lastly, we can’t forget the huge tree that we featured in the centre of the structure, which creates a focal point bringing the eyes up in what is a very tall structure – sometimes people can be a little intimidated by big heights in their wedding tent, so we wanted a big part of the shoot to feature creative ideas for using what is already there.
