These small wedding ideas have come at the perfect time to inspire those of you hoping to hold an intimate wedding celebration in the coming weeks and months. What I just adore about this editorial is that it goes to show that small weddings and micro celebrations can be just as special, if not, even more special than a large wedding bash. Does it get any more romantic than a cosy gathering with a beautiful tablescape adorned with candles, flowers, food and tableware? I think not.
I’ve not even mentioned the abundance of wild style flowers, which really blew me away today. It really suited the garden reception to a T and together with the delicate stationery, flawless hair and make up and that satin wrap dress, you have a very elegant yet timeless wedding look. The Springles captured the event in total and utter style, I have a feeling you are going to feel very inspired by the end of this feature folks.
A beautiful hidden gem, perfect for an intimate celebration…
Don’t get us wrong, we love a big party… but we’re also loving the emerging trend for smaller more intimate weddings, relaxed but still full of style.
This shoot was created by a bunch of local talented suppliers to create a classic but romantic setting for an intimate wedding.

The blush colour palette was chosen to create a classic, timeless feel, the softness works perfectly for a spring wedding as it does for early autumn, working in harmony against the natural wood of the venue – not only is the gallery a beautiful, intimate space, surrounded by a historic walled garden, it is located in a town with both civil ceremony venues and churches in walking distance – giving that city wedding vibe too.
The uber talented Hannah Berry Flowers created all the floral arrangements, her loose, unstructured feel lends itself to the soft romantic feel, the white florals and foliage creating the classic element, finished with blush ribbons to match the table setting… she has an incredible eye for detail.

The dress from Sophie Rose Bridal, was a perfect choice for the shoot, an effortless, ethereal gown, perfect for the contemporary bride; the off white shade blends perfectly with the blush tones and relaxed bouquet – Wren is a wrap style gown that is made from the most exquisite Ivory slipper satin that moves like water. The bodice features delicate lace edging, that adds it a feminine edge. It is made with a gathered skirt and features a waist tie, to show off your gorgeous shape.
The hair and make up were kept soft, romantic and relaxed; a classic, but whimsical look.

Using the beautiful florals as inspiration, this stationery suite, based on a palette of neutrals, was designed with the modern, yet stylish couple in mind. With it’s contemporary typography paired with handwritten elements and beautiful silk ribbons and wax seal finishes, these invitations and menus added that little touch of luxury to an already beautiful venue and set up.

With an intimate venue, comes an intimate kitchen… relaxed main courses and sharing desserts are perfect for this venue, be it an intimate lunch for 20 or a cocktail evening reception for 40, Keeleys kitchen can design a perfect menu for your occasion.
Crisp white linen kept the table settings classic, softened with the florals and runners of natural blush linens, with a hint of elegant golds with the cutlery and glassware to add a touch elegance.

All captured perfectly by the brilliant duo The Springles with their natural, relaxed style.
