How does an alternative, non-traditional wedding ideas editorial in the woods sound? Pretty epic right? Well it totally was. We are at Longton Wood with these inspirational images by Becky Wright Wedding Photography, and the concept and planning was by Brogan Alexandra.
A vast array of supremely creative wedding suppliers, including our very own Supplier Love member Lisa Lyons Bridal, were on hand to unleash their talents. You are going to find so many cool wedding ideas here today.
There are so many amazing elements that I just can’t mention them all, but the highlights have to be the modern attire, motorbike, neon sign, opulent flowers and incredible table set up. The colour palette of black, berry and gold worked so well beneath the canopy of trees. What a striking and fun concept.

Love Rocks: An Intimate Elopement at Longton Woods.
On this sunny afternoon, Brogan and Connor met in the woods for this intimate elopement styled shoot. Taking inspiration from classic rock themes, the scene was set with leather jackets, classic motorbikes and gorgeous black, gold and berry styling.
The day started with a beautiful ceremony, conducted by the wonderful Julie Duffy from Rose and Grace Ceremonies. Brogan wore a full princess style tulle dress with a train, sequinned bodice and shoestring straps from Lisa Lyons bridal. This complimented perfectly the headpiece by Honey V Tiaras, which was made with gold metal bird skulls to form a halo effect.
Boots were provided by Customised Shoes by Miss Molly’s, which featured a hand painted personalised ‘Love Rocks’ design.

The hair was styled to perfection by Hollie Rose Jenner, with Hollywood curls swept to one side, and Kerry-Ann Makeup Artist finished the look with dark maroon eyeshadow and a classic nude lip shade.
Finally, the rings from The London Victorian Ring Company were exchanged, with Brogan’s a ruby and diamond spiral comet ring in yellow gold, and Connor’s a mixed metal wedding band.

Wild Bloom set the scene with a stunning flower arch for the ceremony, whilst using the same deep purples and rich red colours to showcase the table setting, as well as a beautiful bouquet. Wild Bloom flowers were also incorporated onto the cake, which was a striking four tier design, with intricate piping and glitter icing created by Bespoke Bakes.

After a ride on their motorbikes from David Sinclair, the couple relax on the vintage green and gold sofa from The Little Wedding Warehouse, underneath a Love Rocks neon sign by Bay Wedding Props.

After the ceremony, the couple dine at the beautiful table by The Little Wedding Warehouse, dressed in tableware by A Touch of Vintage, with stationery from Kirsten McNee of Fawn and Thistle. Each place setting had a personalised napkin from The Embroidered Napkin Company, with napkin rings from We Are Konoc, table favours supplied by Bomboniere by Maria and even some glittery lollies from Emily’s Lollies.

Finally, the couple bid farewell to the forest, Brogan throws on her leather jacket hand painted by Berry and The Bee and they ride off in the wonderful Buttercup Bus campervan. The day were beautifully captured by Becky Wright Photography, and a video from Jacob Cameron Hill provided the perfect finishing touches.
