This editorial shoot is like something out of a dream. In fact, the concept was English fairytale wedding inspiration, set at Warren House and quite frankly this shoot has it all. Ethereal gown, traditional morning suits, lavender bridesmaid dresses, gorgeous flowers with an arch to die for and a striking cake creation. Not to mention all of the little details, from the accessories to the beauty and stationery.
If you are looking for a traditional, classic and timeless wedding style, this is the place to be today. It was captured so beautifully by Emily Montay despite the thunderery British weather too.

Romantic to the core, traditionally whimsical, and featuring hundreds of delicate flowers, this styled wedding was true, English fairytale at its finest.
Warren House, founded in 1865, was the perfect backdrop to this springtime love story, especially as the wisteria was in full bloom and covering the façade of the historic Victorian hotel. The vision for this shoot was to have extravagant simplicity in the designs to create a traditional, romantic, and cohesive feeling. We achieved this via opulent floral creations but in a restrained colour palette of pastel pinks, blues, and lilacs. Raven & Ryegrass’s stunning floral arch brought spring early to the typical gloomy, English weather. Although we were hoping for sunshine, the rain brought a heightened element of romance to the day and made the entire experience even more English.

The menswear was provided by one of England’s oldest bespoke tailors, Apsley London, located just off of the notorious Saville Row. Both the groom and groomsmen were in full morning dress, fitted perfectly for each person. Love Spell Design provided the most perfect bridal dress, turning the beautiful bride into a real life, modern day princess. The embroidered lace overlay and delicate sleeves perfectly mimicked the romantic floral work incorporated into the venue designs. In order to achieve a cohesive feeling, the bridesmaids wore wisteria coloured gowns provided by NABBD London. From start to finish, the day oozed classical elegance, through the seas of pastel colours, traditional manor house, and sophisticated attire.

While it thunder stormed most of the day, the sky allowed us a generous 10-minute break to conduct the fantastically frazzled ceremony. It was smiles all around as we quickly ran through the vows and ring exchange, before running back inside to avoid the next downpour.
The lightning outside contrasted magically with the stunning interior dinner setup. Raven & Ryegrass brought the outside in with her centrepieces, which went beautifully alongside the cake by All Shapes & Slices Cake Co. Although the original plan was to hold the dinner outside in the 5 acres of sculpted grounds, the rain said otherwise. Nevertheless, the high ceilings and crown moulding of the ballroom offered an elegant and sophisticated space to celebrate in true royal fashion.
Because this was an intimate wedding with only a handful of guests, the large ballroom contrasted wonderfully with the small amount of people, making the entire evening feel grand. We placed the long dinner table in front of a century-old door, featuring hundreds of intricate designs and carvings. The table was flanked on either side by beautiful pillars supporting the high ceilings. Even more opulent and royal was the tableware, featuring golden candelabras and bronze cutlery. Champagne was flowing, candles were lit, and the smiles continued for the rest of the night in this romantic English fairytale
