It’s lovely to be dreaming of Spring and of course boho Spring weddings.
Jessica Holt Photography and Miss Carlysle and Co are behind these divine images sent over to me. Full of fresh wedding ideas, bursting with cool outdoor styling and on-trend attire. The bell tent outdoor reception looks awesome and I love the pops of yellow.
Also, look out for macrame, a triangle arch backdrop, a free-spirited cake creation and a really special ceremony. In fact, there is just so much to take in I just can’t mention it all, so you’ll have to have a nosey yourself… 😍

An outdoor wedding inspiration in Cambridgeshire, with a free-spirited, relaxed, modern theme with a boho bridal style with hints of light pink, green, yellows and burgundy throughout. The inspiration for the shoot was all about how to have a boho wedding inspiration in springtime, bringing colours from both together aspects together.
Imagine being able to have your own space, in a beautiful location to get ready for your wedding day. The anticipation, the excitement…
This idyllic setting has its own natural aspects with the different greenery spaces for you to have your wedding… with spaces for your ceremony through to drink reception through to your wedding breakfast.

Carter Hair and Make Up
The gorgeous April has beautiful eyes and I wanted to focus on them with this look. Glowing skin is incredibly popular at the moment so that is another aspect of the makeup I focused on. I used the eyeshadow pallet ‘twilight’ from Cosmetics A la Carte along with their gorgeous lippy ‘Polka’. I also prepped her skin with their stunning award winning rose primer.

The Celebrant
Jamie Walker is a Humanist wedding celebrant who creates bespoke ceremonies that are natural, relaxed and personal to each couple.
The inspiration for the location of the ceremony shoot came from the beautiful meadow, complete with blossom trees because with a Humanist wedding couples are free to have their ceremony outside. Jamie created a short ceremony for our couple which left them feeling relaxed, full of laughter and joy.

The menus foiled in recyclable gold foil paired with my macrame keyring guest favours really complimented the free-spirited vibe of the day. We also chose to incorporate even more macrame with the table plan, a gorgeous way to display your seating plan to your guests, and ideal for this boho style wedding.
I try to work as sustainably as possible, so all paper elements of my stationery are recyclable, my macrame keyrings are designed to be kept by guests after the day, and my macrame table plan can be hung in your home too, as a beautiful reminder of your wedding day.

I was so pleased when Beth asked me to be part of this amazing shoot. I wanted to create a very relaxed and romantic look, knowing we will use natural areas. The flowers used created the flows and the airy look. The styling was delicate and brought everything together.
The ceremony area continued the same flow, the natural and romantic look. All the greens and blossoms around created the magic that we all wanted.
Ranunculus and buttercups are such delicate flowers and I loved working with them. Together with roses and greens gave me the option to play around and design such a delicate bridal bouquet and great table arrangements.

Bespoke Hair by Nicola
April had the most amazing hair to work with. I wanted to create a soft boho look that would allow the gorgeous dress to do the talking. I used a wand to create loose undone curls and kept the hair free flowing using minimal product to allow the hair to move freely, finishing off by pinning in the stunning accessory to complete the look.
Kellys Cake Kitchen
The cake was designed to reflect the beautiful fabrics that complement the boho look. The icing was distressed, ruffled and pleated to one side where a large bouquet of dried blooms was positioned to gently sway in the wind.
The cake stood on a wooden crate by Victoria Plus Claire, and in front of a macrame which tied the elements of the outdoor wedding together.
Passionfruit cupcakes were also provided for the bell tent picnic scene to complement the touches of yellow in the overall look. Not to mention providing a little treat for the bride and groom before they head back to their guests.

When shown the mood board for this shoot, we knew our styling and props would fit in perfectly with the natural boho theme.
We use our props to create a mood, not just a setting and with our bell tent and intimate picnic set up it did just that.
We use crate boxes to add depth and different levels to flowers and objects and then our added pampas floral displays fitted the desired aesthetic to soften the wood to give an elegant and romantic vibe.
Our wooden arbour is a big feature display for us and by using our macrame backdrop with our handmade pampas display, this fitted in with the rest of the macrame and boho look.

Oh wow! So so pretty.
