What a treat I have in store for you with the whimsical Washington lakeside wedding of Mallori and Brian. I don’t say this lightly, this may be one of the most emotional weddings I’ve clapped eyes on.
Just you wait until you see Brian’s reaction to Mallori walking down the aisle, it’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. So special!
Their day was really sentimental, but goodness me what style there was. What with Mallori’s gorgeous boho gown, the mismatched bridesmaid dresses and Brian’s dapper suit. They all looked amazing.
Enough from me, go check out Claudia Noelle Photography‘s amazing images, thanks so much Claudia for sharing them with us.

Brian and I knew we wanted a really family-centered, fun celebration and it couldn’t have been better! We wanted our wedding to feel intimate in the way that we could look around at EVERYONE there and know them, and having the opportunity to experience friendship with both our guests and vendors made the day really special.
We felt like our worlds were colliding and celebrating not just us, but every person involved in our story. We’re both so excited to start living day-to-day life with each other, from morning to night.

Mallori and Brian’s intimate lakeside wedding in Hoodsport, WA is one of the most special weddings I’ve ever done. Mallori and I met in early 2020 working together, and we became close friends. When I was asked to be at the wedding as both a friend and photographer, I was so excited and honored! Mallori and Brian had their ceremony and reception at Mallori’s family cabin on a moody, cloudy March day, and everything was done DIY-style by Mallori and Brian.
These two first met in college but were never more than acquaintances. They reconnected when Brian slid into Mallori’s DM’s 😉 and immediately hit it off. There was an instant connection there for both of them, and they knew they were meant for each other! (Come on, how cute is that!)
The cloudy day (a classic March in Seattle) didn’t bring down the mood at all – this wedding felt so calm and laid-back. The water was still on the lake, everyone was so relaxed and just enjoying the day.
Mallori and Brian really wanted to focus on their favorite people and make it a family-centered celebration rather than something that felt like a big production, and it was perfect. It was full of so many family and faith-oriented elements that made it so special for this couple. Mallori grew up visiting the cabin with her family, so that already had so much sentimentality. They also incorporated a surfboard as their guestbook since they both love to surf, which I thought was so cool!
Mallori and Brian chose not to do a first look before the ceremony, and Brian’s reaction as Mallori came down the aisle was priceless! That and the father-daughter and mother-son dances were total tear-jerkers. Father-daughter dances usually always get me, but this one was especially emotional.
It was such an honor to be at this wedding as more than just the photographer. Watching Mallori and Brian celebrate with everyone important to them was so special, and they made it so easy for me to be part of the celebration, and it was a joy to photograph them since I already knew them. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes the two of them!

Wow, so beautiful.
Thanks so much to Mallori and Brian’s for sharing their very special Washington lakeside wedding story.
