WWW readers Ashley and Katie’s Pylewell Park wedding in Hampshire was nothing short of spectacular! From the autumnal tones to the glamourous vibes, it was all just gorgeous.
Ashley and Katie looked incredible too. Katie wore a mermaid lace gown with a lace veil and carried some beautiful Autumn flowers, while Ashley donned a sharp black suit and bow tie. So stylish.
Just wait until you see their reception too, there were opulent florals and a stunning gold cake. It really had wow factor. But most of all their day oozed joy and warmth, it really was a wonderful celebration.
Grace Pham Photography, thank you so much for sharing these stunning images with us.

Ash whisked me off on a surprise trip to Positano. On the afternoon of our first day there, he hired a yacht for us to travel up the coast. Whilst I was sunbathing on the front of the boat, he read me a poem to propose (which he’d written in the car on the way to the hotel from the airport!). Of course, I said yes, and I was so happy I jumped straight off the boat into the sea. Thankfully my ring stayed on.

We wanted to bring the outside in. Pylewell Park has stunning grounds, which because of the time of the year were in deep autumn colours. The venue didn’t need much decorating but we worked with Nudo Blooms to add some traditional, wild flowers in burgundy, burnt oranges, whites and golds.

Pronovias used to have a shop in Nottingham, where I’m from, and I used to drive past it when I was a little girl and would dream of having a wedding dress from there. Unfortunately when it came to the time of getting married, the Nottingham shop had long closed but they did have a shop open on New Bond Street. So we just went to the one shop and my dress was the third I tried on. I fell in love with it instantly.
My mum sewed my Nan’s blue wedding necklace into my garter, which was bought for me by one of my bridesmaids, Chloé – so it was old, new, borrowed and blue!
Ash got his suit from Charles Thywitt, only a week before the wedding! There was a formal clothing shortage in London so it was a bit stressful but we got there in the end.

We had a traditional church ceremony at Burley Parish Church. We chose 3 hymns: Jerusalem, Lord of the Dance and Amazing Grace.
My walking down the aisle song was Yours by Ella Henderson.
Our announcement as husband and wife song was This will be (an Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole.
Our first dance song was I was made for loving you by Tori Kelly & Ed Sheeran which was sung by our incredible band The Souljets.

Our photographer was Grace Pham Photography. The photos were just incredible, we are so so glad we chose Grace to be part of our special day.

Our cake was made by Dani, one of my bridesmaids @baked__bean_.
Flowers by @Nudo.blooms. We wanted our flowers to look traditional, autumnal and wild. The team did a great job at achieving all our expectations. They created different flowers for each of the groomsmen and bridesmaids which really added to the wild effect.
Our amazing caterers @red_herring_ltd, provided gold cutlery and intricate white and gold glassware and dinnerware. Our table runners were burgundy velvet and all our food was autumnal colours too. We also chose cocktails to suit the theme with negronis and aperol spritzes on offer.

We were actually supposed to get married in Tuscany but last minute had to cancel due to COVID so we took our honeymoon in Mykonos and then had 6 weeks to plan our UK wedding after securing a cancellation at Pylewell.

Katie: The whole day was just an absolute dream come true. But a really special moment for me was sitting in the gold bathtub at Pylewell watching the sun come up on the morning of the wedding just so incredibly excited about the day to come. I also will never forget my Dad coming into my room once I was ready to see me and giving me a big hug. And my absolute favourite moment of the day was walking down the aisle in the church to my new husband and just smiling at each other like no one else was there.
Ash: My most memorable moment was getting a sneak peek of Katie outside the church before she walked down the aisle. She was surprisingly on time and her dress was sparkling in the sunlight. I couldn’t wait for her to walk in!

Enjoy it! Sounds simple but weddings can be so stressful and so you have to make sure to appreciate and make memories from the little moments, choosing the flowers to the tastings, there are lots of opportunities to build wonderful memories.
And on the day, not everything will always go to plan, so don’t stress about it. Just as we were putting my veil on, we realised the hair clip wasn’t sewn to the veil properly! My bridesmaid Alexis saved the day by sewing it together as quickly as she could and this could have been a disaster but we just laughed through it.

Oh how divine.
Ashley and Katie, I can’t thank you enough for sharing your wonderful Pylewell Park wedding story with us.
