Tanya Flannagan Photography I can’t thank you enough for sharing these splendid and really beautiful images with us. Enjoy it all.

A luxury and romantic pastel inspired shoot.
Burlton Manor is a picturesque wedding venue in the heart of Shrewsbury. A brand new wedding venue filled with beautiful lighting in the renovated spaces and plenty of picture opportunities. It was the most amazing venue for our romantic styled shoot! Matching my photography style perfectly, being soft – airy and pretty.

The colour palette was based on minty greens, pastel pinks with gold accents to decorate. Mint is a trending colour within weddings, and the warm setting of the manor sets the scene perfectly.
We had various accessories and props, such as the stunning floral backdrop – full of pastel pinks, peaches and whites. The tall circular table canopies gave us height which oozes luxury throughout. The tables were also finished with gold accents, being beaded plates and cutlery. Pink napkins to finish and give some soft contrast to the table linen.

Simple, elegant and pretty was the main look of the shoot – so we opted for three separate dresses to show brides how versatile dresses can be with wedding themes.
Firstly we had a gorgeous floral hand painted dress, featuring a leg split offering a modern twist on a romantic and very pretty gown.
Secondly we chose an a-line gown that feels both timeless and bold, and with a daringly high skirt slit, it feels sultry, modern but yet remaining beautifully bridal.
Thirdly, we wanted that fairytale romantic look. Featuring a matching detachable, off-shoulder split cape, plenty of glitter and a dreamy skirt, the whole look just oozes princess vibes! Perfect for the bride wanting that modern day princess look.

The dresses were complemented by bespoke veils and headbands too – which gives inspiration for brides who may like one or the other.
The groom wore a gorgeous grey tweed suit, finished with silver cufflinks and a pink tie to match the theme.

The cake was a talking point, having lots of height and beautiful florals within it – its certainly one that would wow guests at any wedding. Not to forget the absolutely gorgeous bouquet created – which was full of roses, spray roses, anemones as well as tulips finished off by the wild gathering of centred foliage.

For the bridal accessories, we chose sparkling diamond earrings, that accentuated the bride’s beautiful eyes perfectly. As well as wearing a soft bridal makeup look overall, we then went with a more bold lip choice for contrast – having only natural lashes to keep a subtle and natural finish.
Her hair was pinned up for a more textured, romantic and traditional look, also beaded headbands for brides that opt for something different.
We had such a lovely time at Burlton Manor, and cant wait to be back again!
