Craig McBeth Photography ~ In The Hotseat

I am really excited to be introducing another member of the {www} family… the lovely Craig from Scottish based wedding photographers, McBeth Photography.

I adore Craig’s fresh yet classic images, which capture such emotive feelings. I shall leave you to Craig and some of his beautiful images…

{w} Hi, could you firstly tell {www} readers a little bit about you?

I’m Craig, a baldy thirty something father of two and husband to one. I only wear knitted ties, I think tractors are cool, I do a mean chicken impression and I strive to be the bestest daddy I can.

{w} What do you love/dislike about your job?

How many jobs are there where you spend you time surrounded by people during one of the happiest days of their lives and usually get free cake too. I love the bridal prep part of the day. I totally turn into one of the girls for a couple of hours. Talking about balcony bras, Boleros, Christian Louboutins, back combing and the logistics of peeing in a wedding dress. When I leave the girls I seek out male company to talk about football, cars and scratching ones self.

I don’t like book-keeping (not that I actually do it but I hate how I have to keep receipts for practically everything I buy).

{w} What do you aim to achieve for your clients?

I want them to look at my images and to relive the day. Feel beautiful and see the love and support on the faces of there friends and family.

{w} What style is your work?

My style is achingly relaxed, perplexingly friendly and quite frightening fun.

{w} Could you tell us some information about your packages/prices?

Pay me as little a just £900 (say that quickly and it doesn’t sound like much) and I am your man, all day, with a pre wed shoot and images on disk.

{w} Do you have any tips for couples in selecting your wedding photographer?

Like their work, like their prices and like them and you cant go wrong.
