Happy days! It’s time to share Matt and Alix’s beautiful springtime Kent coast wedding at The Ferry House. Their day was all relaxed, happy and bright, such a feast for the eyes!
I love how the Spring wedding flowers used throughout brought so much prettiness. There were lovely tones of pink and yellow which were a match made in heaven. Then, of course, there were the stylish outfits, a floral cake creation and an epic doughnut wedding cake wall.
Not to mention totally glorious portraits on the coastline with the most amazing views. So very lovely. WWW wedding supplier faves The Redfords were there to get the party started come evening too, hooray!
Peter Reynolds Photography, thank you so much for sharing with us these exquisitely beautiful photographs of Matt and Alix’s celebrations.

Matt took me to my favourite beach on my birthday for a picnic and surprised me with a beautiful engagement ring. He had only asked my mum the day before but had safely stored the ring away for months waiting for the right time!

We followed a formal time line for the day but with a very relaxed approach. We had no best men or bridesmaids, only 58 for the day. We wanted great food and wine with good music!

Ferry House Inn, Kent.
Lovely venue out in the countryside – they looked after everything superbly!

Matt wore a blue textured suit with a white shirt and a tie that was made out of the underskirt of my dress to tie in with the colour.
I wore a lace dress that was picked so I could still dance and eat during the day and still feel comfortable! I had a headpiece which matched my crystal belt and some salmon pink shoes to tie in with the flowers.

A very relaxed ceremony with personal music that meant something to us. I picked a very long entrance song and you can see Matt in the wedding video sweating as I was taking too long to make my entrance!
We also said to friends we would do the breakfast club ‘punch the air’ that we did once they announced us as husband and wife.

Bright flowers everywhere! Our florist was so amazing, she went with the bright and pretty theme and went with it big style! The barn had a lot of dark wood and hops so it was nice to have a contrast.
In the reception room it was a blank canvas so we knew it needed some colour to make it pop! We had lace chair covers, peachy clothes, a huge flower hoop and tall centre stands with gorgeous displays on top. It was so impactful.

Jamaica for 16 nights. It was pure relaxation and stunning! Had a few trips out but mainly relaxed and made the most of the all-inclusive and water sports!

Mum surprising me with a car to take me to the venue. I thought we were going in her Suzuki Swift to the venue!!

Relax. It’ll be an amazing day as long as your favourite people are there.
Remember it’s about you both getting married, not about entertaining others.

How very special.
Matt and Alix, thank you so very much for sharing your stunning Kent coast wedding story with us.
