Rayavadee Krabi Wedding in Thailand

The Proposal

Federico always knew I wanted to get a proposal by the sea in a tropical location, that’s why he proposed during at Mauritius during a romantic dinner on the beach. just the two of us.

The Vision

We have always imagined a very elegant wedding but with a touch of style in the design. This was very important to us, as well as the possibility of giving our guests an experience. We organized trips and experiences for the days before the wedding to introduce them to Thailand.

Budget

Living by the Lake Como area, we know how much expensive a wedding can be, that’s the reason why we decided to get married abroad and invest our money for a real experience for us and our guests.

The Venue

The choice of the location was not easy, we compared different resorts and villas in different areas of Thailand and not only in this destination. But the thing that struck us the most about the Rayavadee Hotel was the cave where we had dinner and celebrated our wedding. No other venue has this kind of setting and style.

In addition, the colors of the sunset that could be seen from that point made everything more special and unique.

The Ceremony & Music

The ceremony has always been the most important part in our mind. Being a symbolic celebration we were able to personalize our promises, insert the sand rite and choose the songs that excite us the most.

But above all we asked our guests to write speeches for us and read them during the ritual, this was one of the most intense and emotional moments of the whole day.

Your Outfits

Federico has always imagined himself wearing a classic blue suit with a bow tie, but when we went to Demas atelier to choose it, we noticed this black suit with a particular, slightly glittery fabric that recalled the bride’s dress and therefore was perfect.

Eleonora, on the other hand, as a perfectionist and lover of trends, as every influencer is, imagined a fashionable dress with many chic and modern details, such as the slit, the numerous applications on the bodice, the puffed sleeves. Consequently, once the Millanova model with glitter fabric was chosen, a real customization work began to make her dress unique.

Your Photographer & Filmmaker

We chose Blancorazon as our photographer and filmmaker because we fell in love with their style, and we know that pictures and video will be the most important memories of these days. But this was not the only thing that convinced us to choose them: we instantly got along with them, their enthusiasm and their good taste let us understand that they were perfect for us.

The Honeymoon

We are still thinking about our honeymoon that we will do later during this year. But after the wedding in Thailand we decided to continue our trip in Vietnam, precisely we have been in the north and we visited Mai Chau, Ninh Binh, Tam Coc, Halong Bay and Hanoi.

The Styling & Decor

We opted for a total white design with a touch of dark green that recalled the surrounding vegetation and in particular the palm trees. We have also included small golden details such as the structures to recall the gold of the invitation font. The extra touch was to insert a shelf with coconuts to serve before the start of the ceremony to better face the hot local climate. The details of the set up beyond the drink itself were much appreciated.

For dinner we decided to have an imperial table since there were less than 20 guests with a low floral arrangement because the evening wind would have made a type of suspended arrangement dangerous, which we had initially thought of instead. We then covered the ceiling with lots of fairy lights to make the atmosphere more romantic.

For the moment of cutting the cake we wanted to focus on the scenographic aspect given by the performance of the fire show, creating plays of light and leaving all the guests speechless.

Memorable Moments

The ceremony was the most emotional moment of the wedding, we knew it would be and we wanted it to be like this: our friends and relatives read speeches written for us and it was very emotional.
