When a wedding vision stems from a flower crown, you just know it’s going to be gorgeous! Introducing Natalie and Daniel’s stunning Oxwich Bay Hotel wedding in Wales.
Their day was both whimsical and magical, with the autumn season lending itself perfectly to the cosiness of the log burner during the ceremony and the twinkling fairy lights at the reception. There was an amazing cake table display with a flower hoop, of course, that sensational floral bridal crown and the prettiest pink bridesmaid dresses.
In fact, I adore all the stylish outfits, the romantic beach portraits, the confetti moment and the cute fabric banner signs. Swoon.
Michelle Huggleston Photography, I can’t thank you enough for sharing with us these joy-filled and vibrant images with us.

Bluestone – one of our favourite places in Wales. It was my 30th Birthday and I was heavily pregnant at the time.

Believe it or not, the main feature of the wedding and the only thing that I wanted was a floral crown. Everything else had to go with that really.

Nia Sian Davies was the harpist for the ceremony. I wanted the ceremony to be relaxed yet serious as after all, this was the most important part of the day.
We had the talented Sam Freeman sing during our drinks reception. We have heard Sam play on several occasions and he is a pure joy to listen to.
Coverland were our band at the evening party – they’re epic!!

My dress was from Eva Ashley Swansea. It was my first ever experience in a bridal shop and I just ‘knew’ when I tried my dress on. It was magical. The dress designer was Elysee.

KM Videography – The wonderful Katie did our video and it is spectacular. I can’t watch the films without being overwhelmed with emotion, we will forever be indebted to her.
Michelle Huggleston was our photographer – what-a-pro! Myself and Dan are really not confident in front of the camera. A friend recommended Michelle to us as she’d covered her friend’s wedding and we are so grateful of this. Michelle was perfect for us, a lovely person who made us at ease. As for her work, it speaks for itself – astonishingly good!

The Honeymoon
We left for Cancun, Mexico the next day!! The best honeymoon we could have dreamt of. Stunning weather, cocktails, food – we felt really spoilt.
I remember walking down the stairs at my parent’s house and my dad seeing me for the first time. He’s always been so proud of me (and my sister) in every step that we take. The wedding day was no different – seeing his face light up like that will live with me forever.
Seeing my husband-to-be Dan at the end of the aisle very emotional (he’s not usually an emotional person at all). It was so raw and real – I loved it.
I must not forget my youngest daughter, Bella coming out of the ceremony room and intentionally sliding along the mud and grass. Her dress was ruined pretty much from this point but who cares? We were all having the time of our lives, lost in joy so those things didn’t really matter.

The bridal party and groomsmen all had fresh flowers by the hugely talented Rachel @ The Dancing Daffodil. Rachel is a dream to work with – I’d recommend her to anyone!
The venue was so whimsically dressed by Naomi at The Wedding Business. I mean, did you see my cake stand and centrepieces? I remember metting Naomi who listened to my vision taking everything on board. Naomi said to me “more is MORE” and I couldn’t agree more.

Your wedding day will whizz by in the blink of an eye. Be sure to sit back and take a moment to absorb it all in.

Oh just so beautiful!
