Get set for all the fun times with Roisin and Rob’s awesome South Yorkshire farm wedding celebrations. Woohoo!
They were wed on the family farm on a beautiful Summer’s day. They held their ceremony outdoors as the sun shone and partied in the gorgeous pole tent marquee afterwards. They decked out their day in gorgeous wildflowers, pot plants, and rustic wooden signs. They added natural touches such as wood and hessian materials which really brought together the rustic theme perfectly.
Also, be sure to look out for two scrumptious-looking cakes, a pipe frame backdrop and some seriously gorgeous outfits.
Huge thanks go to Amy Jordison Photography for sharing with us these vibrant and joyful captures. What a dream day!

In September 2022 we were holidaying in the South of France, in a small village out of Carcassonne with family.
Rob and I visited a Minerva to explore the small quaint village. Rob was acting very strange and overly interested in the views. When we reached the top of the village he asked a stranger to take a picture of us with the gorgeous French scenery behind. Lo and behold he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!

A wedding on the family farm, celebrating with everyone we love! A day where people feel relaxed and able to celebrate, no faffy or fancy bits just filled with fun!

Family farm in Frickley, Doncaster!

Roisin chose a vintage-looking dress designed by Evie Young, something so detailed but different to the traditional bride!
Rob’s suit was classic sage herringbone to give off that class country look!

Our guests were invited to join our ceremony outside that was written and presented by Roisin’s best friend and MOH. The arch was made out of copper, reflecting Rob’s trade as a gas engineer.
Roisin walked down the aisle to Florence and the Machine, Stand By You. This was followed by Ain’t No Mountain High Enough on the walk back down the aisle.
Our ceremony was followed by live music by the most wonderful musician Tom Masters!

Our wonderful wonderful photographer, Amy Jordison. She captured the day in the most perfect way, truly reflecting our emotions and experience from start to finish.

The decorations were inspired by a vintage look and collected from antique shops, marketplace and craft shops.
We had two cakes, yes two! A sweet three-tiered sponge cake and an actual cheese cake with layers of different delicious cheeses that made part of the food in the evening.
Flowers were a big part of the wedding planning and were based on a wild floral design. We collected glass jars and bottles that were scattered along the tables filled with gorgeous blooms.
The theme was rustic farm, drawing on talented friends and family to make and design decorations. Picture this, a wooden painted pallet with our date and wedding, an old plant pot with wild flower seeds as favours and bales of straw as seats.

Honeymoon currently in the planning stages, but we are looking at adventures in Canada!

The speeches, filled with meaningful moments but also lots of love!

Do what feels right and reflects you both as a couple!
Don’t be railroaded by what you think you should do and dare to be a lil’ different!

Oh so special.
Roisin and Rob, I can’t thank you enough for sharing with us your fantastic South Yorkshire farm wedding story.
