I am so excited to be sharing even more images from The Bride Diaries Photoshoot today 🙂 And it’s Kelly’s turn!! Yay!!
Kelly is our classically styled bride. Kelly was perhaps the least confident of the girls, and it was so lovely to see her blossom as the day went on, with her confidence growing with each shot. And i think you will agree she looked stunning. Kelly i hope this has given you a confidence boost for your big day 🙂
Huge huge thanks again to Anna Clarke Photography for her beautiful images today.
Here is what Kelly had to say about the shoot;
“The shoot for me was all manner of mixed emotions, my weight is no where near what I would be fully comfortable at, my anxiety levels were through the roof and it was taking place 3.5 hours away from home. BUT what girl in her right mind wouldn’t want to get all dolled up by the fabulous Katy and Sharon and play dress up in stunning wedding dresses for the day? Oh and I didn’t even consider the accessories – beyond all that is beautiful!
My gorgeous, supportive and wonderful husband to be came along for the ride and it was fab to have him there. The highlight for me was meeting everyone involved, especially Lou, Laura and Adeline. My favourite shot is one of the 4 of us at the end of the day. Unforgettable.xXx”
Kelly wore the beautiful Meryl Dress by Amanda Wyatt and a gorgeous headpiece by Lottie-Emile.
The brilliant Make Up By Katy made over Kelly, here Katy tells us how she created Kelly’s classic make up look;
“I went to a much more traditional path for Kelly’s make-up. Kelly has a classicly pretty face and I wanted to enhance it and not over power it. The eyes were softly smoky yet not dark. Using a taupe and plum grey combination I kept it transparent yet contoured. Individual lashes added in completed the look by adding volume without the dramatic effect of strip lashes. Ardell short and medium lashes are the best for this effect as they don’t have a solid knot at the base.
Kelly’s lips and cheeks were tied together with skintoned shades from Une cosmetics. The cheeks were first given a rosy flush with a Breezy cheek colour on 02, set with a translucent powder and I followed with a powder clush in a peachy shade.
Her lips were corrected and filled in with my favourite lip pencil, Model Co Nude Illusion and then layered with Une Lip Colour L02 and a neutral peachy beige gloss Maybelline Colour Sensation in Nude Pearl.
A beautiful classic look for a beautiful bride.”
For Kelly’s second hair look she wore a beautiful bow by Lottie-Emile. Sharon from Wonderful Wedding Hair created Kelly’s gorgeous high bun, here she tells us how she created it;
“Kelly had a photo of the look she wanted and we had 2 headpieces that would work with the style. a really high Bun
I acheived Kellys hairstyle with plenty of backcombing and some hairpadding . The padding is what gives it the shape, height and firmness.
The first head piece was Lottie-Emile & had a ribbon that tied at the back of the bun. the second was a beautiful pewter sparkley bow by Lottie-Emile“
