The shoot was set in early Spring and with woollen blankets, plus Springtime blooms, it gives such a seasonal feel to this shoot. I’m totally loving the groom look here today, with the woollen scarf and suit combo working so well. Not to mention the stylish paper goods, statement cake, stunning brides and sensational florals to boot. Revel in this loveliness folks, especially if you are planning a late Winter or Spring wedding.
Georgina Brewster Photography, many thanks for providing these dreamy shots.
“The Yorkshire Dales is a dream wedding destination, full of amazing rural landscapes, stunning venues and outstanding wedding suppliers. We were determined to combine these elements for our inspirational photo shoot to showcase what Yorkshire has to offer couples in love.
We chose one of the most beautiful wedding venues in North Yorkshire, Falcon Manor at Settle. Originally a gentleman’s residence, Falcon Manor is now a country house hotel and a perfect wedding venue. Fully restored, it is glamorous and stylish with lots of contemporary twists. The photo-shoot took place in the beautiful function room, the gardens, with the Yorkshire Dales as a backdrop, and the Honeymoon Suite, known as Rafters Room, which is utterly beautiful.”

“It was great to have Katie Louise Holmes and Sarah Lewis-Paulke modelling for the day, along with Sarah’s husband, Jan. Georgina shot Sarah and Jan’s wedding and just knew they’d be the perfect couple for this shoot! Georgina Brewster is based in Skipton and shoots weddings all over the UK but is in her element at a country wedding inspired by the landscape. Katie and Sarah wore bridal gowns and accessories from The Bridal Emporium, Leeds, where in house designer, Claire Amelia, offers a made to measure service, designing and hand making wedding dresses and accessories in store and so much more.”

“Jan modelled jackets, shirts, ties, caps and scarves from Abraham Moon at The Courtyard in Settle. Abraham Moon Ltd is the last woollen mill in England to take in raw wool and handle the whole production process through to the finished cloth.
Moon’s clothing shop at The Courtyard at Settle stocks their own range of tweed and wool jackets and coats for men and women, shirts, knitwear and accessories, rugs and throws, cushions and home-ware.”

“For her floral designs, Susan of The Yorkshire Dales Flower Company used flowers and foliages lovingly grown in her garden at Bradley, near Skipton. Fellow Yorkshire growers, Elizabeth Jackson and Sally Pickering also provided Susan with flowers and foliages for the photo shoot. Susan wanted her floral designs to reflect the gardens from where they had come and even used plants in old terracotta pots for the ceremony aisle to reflect a country garden feel. Even though it was so early in the year for British flowers there was plenty of colour and variety from flowers and foliages including Hellebores, Daffodils, Muscari and blossom. Susan is an artisan florist and flower grower, specialising in weddings and events. A qualified florist, her style is natural and rustic, whilst paying attention to detail and she absolutely loves using flowers from her own garden when they are in season.”

“Suzanne Oddy Design Ltd from Keighley provided beautiful stationery, styling and props on the photo shoot. Suzanne provides wedding items that are unique and usually sourced, printed and handmade locally, including personalised invitations and event stationery and rustic, handmade wooden hire items and laser cut wood designs, which can be tailored to a client’s style.”

“Truly Essential Beauty & Holistic Therapist’s Val Preston provided make up for Katie and Sarah. Val provides bridal make up and also beauty treatments and pamper evenings for individuals or groups.
Emily Taylor from La Bella Boutique was hair stylist on the photo shoot. At her Skipton salon, Emily provides a bridal hair experience and luxurious treatments.”

“No wedding would be complete without a cake from White Lace Cakery, also from Bradley near Skipton, provided a superb naked cake, beautifully decorated, for the photo shoot. White Lace Cakery is run by Hazel who specialises in designing and creating cakes and cupcakes for any celebration or occasion.”
