Oh how we have fallen head over heels for this beautiful fine art wedding ideas shoot today. I mean does it get any better than a cool blush and oxblood colour palette, dreamy blooms and a beaded tassel gown? I think not folks. But the best bit? Is that this look can be achieved on a smaller budget, thanks to the stunning foraged blooms used by the florists here today. I mean take the branch and flower backdrop, which looks so delicate and pretty, but makes a really bold statement.
The metallic marble cake creation really is so on trend and I also think that the calligraphy stationery screams style. Beautiful fabrics really brought the décor together perfectly for a harmonious and luxe look. Huge thanks goes to The Blushing Peony Photography for sharing these sublime shots
“The shoot took place at a beautiful country house in Pocklington, East Yorkshire.
The outside; surrounded by fields and trees, and on the inside were beautiful Georgian fireplaces. “Built around 1841 Dunedin is styled in late Georgian with early Victorian influence. The quaint village of Patrington is on our doorstep and hosts a variety of independent shops, eateries & hostelries, including our own beauty lounge “The Retreat”. Helen & Simon purchased Dunedin in 2012 and have lovingly restored & renovated the building to its original beauty.”
Our aim for the styled shoot was to showcase the work of an amazingly talented team of florists and stylists, all locally based, and to show that in even on a less than average budget, your wedding can be truly beautiful by making use of the materials roundabout. Bloom and Bridal used branches from their own gardens to create the beautiful ceremony backdrops, and used other various foliage that they could find down country lanes and near by. The venue was styled in a way that complimented the gardens outside, bringing them into the room so to speak, and kept a very intimate, cosy feel.”
