Christmas Engagement Ideas - A Festive Proposal

Oh my goodness you guys, I actually have all the festive feels right now thanks to these amazing Christmas engagement ideas! WWW supplier directory member, the wonderful Vintage Camper Booths, decided to coordinate this fantastic styled shoot (and of course bring along their beautiful camper photo booth). What a feast for the eyes and pure joy for the soul these images by Avalon Photography are of real couple Georgia and Chris.

Just imagine the scene, a cool camper, Christmas wreaths and trees, cute signs, hot chocolate and cosy knits. Does it get any better for a romantic Christmas proposal? I only hope that some lovely couples out there get a super romantic engagement experience like this. Or if you are thinking of proposing, do take note, this set up would be oh so special.

Christmas Engagement Ideas

Love isn’t cancelled! It is one of the most romantic times of the year for engagements so we wanted to create a romantic woodland engagement styled shoot with all the festive feels. Snow, hot chocolate and marshmallows, christmas trees and wreaths, warm twinkly lights and a VW Campervan of course 🙂

We wanted to create a romantic journey where the couple drive off into the woodland together in their beloved VW Campervan. He proposes on one knee, they celebrate with hot chocolate and marshmallows, kiss under the mistletoe and cuddle up around the Christmas tree. Of course cosy up inside the camper and have some fun with Christmas Props too (a nod to our VW Campervan Photo Booths).

Funky Flowers by Kate Thomas made some stunning Christmas garlands and wreaths for us and kindly provided some additional festive décor to help us create something pretty magical! We had some gorgeous personalised items made especially for this shoot too. The adorable and colourful ‘His & Hers’ santa sacks and ‘Meet me underneath the Mistletoe’ banner were made by ‘Day Dreamer Creative Studio’. The ‘Engagement’ hot chocolate mugs and Christmas baubles were made by ‘Nope Ascot’ and our yummy Christmas and Engagement themed biscuits were especially designed and baked for us by Crumbssss. Justin from Prestige Sound & Light provided gorgeous warm festoon lighting and fairy lights, a large barrel and a snow machine, which worked perfectly for the ‘proposal shots’. It all looked so incredibly cute and romantic and was captured beautifully by Avalon at Avalon Photography.
